We went for breakfast on Sunday morning. It's small but cosy, we didn't have to wait long for a table but there was a queue outside when we left so get here early. I had the eggs Hebridean which was awesome, my wife had the cinnamon toast which she loved. All washed down with two lovely lattes. Will be back.

We ordered two full English breakfasts with a sausage stottie (roll and sausage - links). The cooked breakfast consisted of 2 links, black pudding, two eggs, mushrooms and toast. We also selected beans and hash browns which were additional items. We had freshly squeezed OJ and coffee one white flat and one Americano, both coffee's were tasty. The sausage stottie was... More

I popped in very early on a Sunday was met with a friendly face and warm welcome. The great coffee was a precursor to a fantastic breakfast of avocado and eggs on toast and the cost was very reasonable.

when you read the reviews about this place you expect a lot...it is a quirky little place with 5-6 tables, staff are nice and friendly, i had full English breakfast for 7, something and it was ok (2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon) mushrooms, roasted tomato and black pudding and it was ok. I felt very full afterwards and could... More

In our search for the best Eggs Benedict in town, we decided on breakfast at Quay Ingredient and had no regrets. It's a small café so it was no surprise that we had a fifteen minute wait for a table. Café staff can't really do anything about rude young people who, having finished their breakfasts, sit looking at mobile phones... More

The cafe is small thus there can be a queue. The service is good. The portions are generous and the menu varied. The fresh kipper with a poached egg in a butter and herb sauce was delicious. There are vegetarian and gluten free options.

Not bad. Staff were attentive and polite. Mocha taste wise was lovely but warm rather than hot. Brownie was delicious and warmed up with a dollop of cream. However, it was tiny. They have them on display but then cut them in half to serve. The display portion is a standard portion.

Having read the reviews of this establishment on tripadvisor we made an effort to find and it and we were really glad we did. It's a small, intimate cafe and we got the last table. The coffee (both normal and decaffeinated) were excellent and the avocado and poached egg was perfect, healthy and kept us going until dinner time. Service... More

After reading reviews on TripAdvisor my husband and I decided to give it a try on our first morning in Newcastle and we are so glad that we did. A small, though very welcoming cafe with exceptional customer service by all. A varied menu awaits we chose a croissant with ham and cheese along with a breakfast stottie both absolutely... More

Came here on a Saturday where they unfortunately only served a limited menu. Food was still great though! Came fast and the presentation was great. I think for brunch it was quite expensive but then again... Eggs Benedict type of food is always expensive. Make sure you come here early to avoid the queues, overall I would definitely recommend here!
