Two of us called in for a quick lunch between meetings. It was fine. Basic food menu which was cooked adequately. Better quality coffee Reasonably priced.

We arrived at around 10am and were lucky to get a table - by the time we left an hour or so later people were literally queuing out the door so it definitely pays to turn up early! The breakfast / brunch menu is extensive...More

I love Quay Ingredient! We did a google search for dog friendly places to eat ahead of a recent visit to Newcastle and Quay Ingredient came up. After a quick look at their website, I discovered that they also offered a wide range of gluten...More

I was in the area and fancied breakfast, a cheap fry up in Wetherspoons was the original plan. I'm so pleased I picked here instead. I opted for a full english breakfast made gluten free. It was absolutely delicious, very generous portions too. It was...More

Really enjoyed my visit to quay ingredient. Had a little wait for a table, it is very small but a queue at the door is always a good sign! Sat down at the bar whilst waiting to be seated, ordered there so that when a...More

Lovely little cafe serving excellant breakfasts, freshly cooked, very tasty and good value. Nice relaxed atmosphere, even though it was very busy. Possibly a little small/cramped when it gets busy, but the food is great

Nope. This is a response to another person's review. When someone asks a question on TripAdvisor, everyone who has reviewed an establishment is invited to answer it. I couldn't find a way to challenge an unreasonable review... More

Just in response to the review left on the 10th of October about wrong meals and charging. The reason it was chaotic is because of demand, caused by the excellent food and service. We were there and heard and saw everything, including your attitude. The right food was served in the wrong sequence, owing to it being very busy. Nobody involved batted an eyelid and free drinks were also served to those concerned. The issue was rectified within precisely two minutes and everyone was more than happy. To say that the ingredients are low quality indicates that you're either petty, or don't know what you're talking about.
