First time visit, and ok, I didn't actually have a sunday lunch but 2 people in our party did and they left nothing. Thumbs up. I had the "whale" and chips. Not a massive fish but it was big enough and well cooked. The chips...More

We booked the Blue bell very last minute for my sister's wedding breakfast. With just over 24 hours notice, the staff (and especially Scotty the chef) pulled out all the stops to put on a fabulous morning for us. We used the summer house in...More

Great Sunday dinner. Mash potato was awesome! Food came out quickly. Added bonus was being able to bring the pooch.

Return visit now the original chef Scottie back. Good food, plentiful and great service. Would certainly recommend a return visit if you were previously disappointed, you will not be sorry.

I visited this pub 6 months ago and it was so good when I was in Newcastle this time I made the effort to go back again. The food is delicious and portions are very generous, prices are fair and the staff are great.

Description
A modern pub set in the idyllic surroundings of Jesmond Vale. We serve high standard food, real ale, world lager and a wide selection of spirits, with a small cocktail menu. We have a large garden and decking area outside which is open to the public, and we are also a dog-friendly pub for those who are walking their dog in the adjoining woodland.
