Ordered take away. Came exactly when I had asked for it. Ordered Mussels which were so lovely and piping hot. Also the veggie mezze mix which was just so nice, Good value for money and would recommend.

I bought 2 frozen pizzas from Asda, costing £1.45 each, that had more topping and were much nicer. Garlic bread with cheese - dry and very little if any cheese. Tasteless. Chips - Minging and find it hard to believe they were hand cut. Cost - £31.45 although I get the total to be £29.50 so I assume the additional £1.95 was for the virtually non-existent cheese on the garlic brea d. All I can say is that I was so hungry I could have eaten a scabby dog otherwise I would have taken it back. Never again!More

It’s no secret me and the restaurant have had issues previously, but this is nothing to do with the food but simply an access issue cos I live close by. Anyway a friend of mine is a regular visitor and rates the place highly so...we decided to give it a go. Pleased we did as the whole experience was enjoyable. Friendly staff and decent food and that’s all you can ask for. Overall I would def recommend the place as it’s reasonably priced with good quality food and in my experience friendly staff.More

Myself and my wife were in the restaurant on Sunday 4th of September,, we sat next to the ladies that made a very abrut seen to the owner , ( see post about owner) They ordered a starter that clearly states on the menu tziki...OR hummus they then challenged staff when the bill arrived that they would not pay for both starters,,,, the owner kindly agreed to take one of the starters off the bill,,, But one of the ladies was extremely rood and persisted to cause a seen in the restaurant and me and my wife were extremely upset that we have been dining here for the past 15 years and know that the family are extremely accommodating and professional as the restaurant has been owned by the family for over 20 years I was shocked to here the attitude of the ladies that complained and also that they have put a review on here, as the problem was resolved as far as I'm concerned,More

The meal itself was ok however the service was slow but worst of all when we queried something on the bill that shouldn't have been on there, the woman argued with us then she gave my friend the worst look and said she would take...it off the bill but she didn't get what we were saying she then proceeded to say the waiter should get extra training so infact admitting that we were in the right, her attitude was an absolute disgrace I said we'll I will contact your manager, she then aggressively said with an angry face "well I'm the owner" I said "unprofessional". She was a terrible person with a terrible attitude and shouldn't be front of house she would be more suited to washing the pans. I will not return along as she is there as an owner. It was my friends first time there and I was embarrassed that I recommended to go there.More

My food arrived 12 minutes after everyone else on my table. It annoyed me that when I politely asked the waitress how much longer my food would be she snapped back rudely and responded ‘well some people had starters’. I didn’t have a starter, and...I don’t see how it was relevant. The second waitress on shift had to come back to the table to ask me what I’d ordered!? The Sunday dinner wasn’t great and the service was pretty poor.More

We live locally and often wondered why the place never looked busy. We thought we would try it regardless and give benefit of the doubt. When we arrived the place was reasonably full so we thought that’s a good sign. We asked for a table...of two and we were told to go sit in the booth across the restaurant with a point rather than shown to a table. We got a drinks order quickly and given some bread for the table. That’s where our night ended. The bread was rock hard and stale. We waited 25 minutes for anyone to come to serve us and take an order. We must of had servers and the woman who appeared to be the manager walk past our table about 10 times in total and we felt invisible. Eventually we came to realise we clearly weren’t going to get good service and decided to leave. Still with nobody coming over to us for an order. When we went to the bar to pay for the drinks we did have the manager didn’t even query why we weren’t staying. We won’t be visiting again. Poor management.More

Food amazing staff lovely but watch when making payments using your card as they added £20 on on two occasions for me. Making this statement as first time you can accept as a mistake but not the second. Haven’t been back since tbh

My mum's first visit to Amici but I have visited several times in the past. The restaurant was quiet when we arrived but it was mid-week and just before payday. I opted for the potato skins (would happily have this as my main course as...well as they are SO tasty) and mum had the prawn cocktail which she enjoyed. I opted for the red pepper and goats cheese ravioli which was lovely and mum had the Chicken Kiev which was slightly larger than she expected but she enjoyed it. The staff were delightful, prices reasonable and the owner escorted my mum down the steps which she appreciated! We will be back!More

A bit of a disappointing experience here. We ordered online for collection and received an email confirmation saying at which time it would be ready. We arrived on time, and upon collection we waited a further 25 minutes in an incredibly chaotic environment before the...order was ready. When we eventually got home with the food it was hit and miss. We ordered a steak which, in all fairness was perfect, but we also ordered the ravioli Aragosta which is described on the menu as ‘Filled with Lobster, Crab and Prawns served with Lobster Sauce’ - this was not the case at all. Although the pasta itself was well-cooked, it was certainly not filled with seafood (my best guess would be that it is a simple ricotta filling) and it was served in a tomato sauce which contained a very small amount of seafood. I’m not exaggerating when I say I had one chunk of lobster and one single prawn, with no identifiable crab. The food wasn’t terrible it was just disappointing that it did not match the description. It seems to be one of those places where your experience would go either way depending on your order. I’d probably go again, but I’d call and ask for an eta on food before I left the house, and I’d avoid the lobster ravioli.More

We have had food delivered every other week for 2 years and have been very happy. Tonight however, food took 2 hours 20 minutes to arrive and some was freezing and went in the bin. Very disappointing

Had a lovely evening at Amici recently. I had the potato skins for starters and had forgotten just how yummy (and how moreish) they were. Followed this with my main of a Caprino Pizza which was delicious. My friend had the baked feta for starters...and mushroom risotto for main – and declared it the best she had ever had. It’s been a long time since we last visited Amici, thanks to covid, but with the memory of those potato skins in my head, it won’t be too long till we make a return visit.More
