Head waiter was unwelcoming and roughly moved our 8 month olds pushchair out of his way without asking. No need for that kind of behaviour really.

We were a group of five who had booked a table. The restaurant was busy but we had to wait to be directed to a table which was in a very noisy part of the restaurant. We waited for an hour for our drinks order to be taken by rather a rude man. And was offered a choice of one... More

The best Mediterranean meal I've had. I'd heard a lot about Adriano's and was worried it wouldn't meet the hyped expectations I had, thankfully I was wrong. They had an exceptionally good and affordable Malbec on the wine specials menu, which we did not hesitate to order and then order again after the first quickly went! My starter of oven... More

An exceptional find and brilliant suggestion for a restaurant in Gosforth. As a family of seven we were instantly made welcome and served. We were handed a very comprehensive menu, with a wide choice of dishes. The food was of excellent quality and the service superb. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Good things: the actual food Bad things: EVERYTHING ELSE. Firstly we were greeted by a very rude man who I have assumed is head waiter. We hadn't book so I appreciated we wouldn't have a fabulous table on the busy Friday evening. So we were shown to a table in the outside court yard which we didn't mind. However, the... More

We decided to give Adrianos another chance: we have found it very noisy place in the past and I am afraid not much has changed. The food is good and worth the visit. The waiters are good enough. Not much changed. But it must be just us as it was packed and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I think next... More

The goats cheese starter was ok (relatively speaking). Dehydrated frozen food Sticky tables Meat swimming in gravy Over cooked veg Yorkshire puddings crumbled to dust on contact Poor quality ingredients If I had deducted the service charge (which I didn't), the meal, would have been fairly inexpensive. But I didn't go for a cheap meal - I went for a decent... More

The menu is very long which I don't like. It makes choosing difficult and it makes me suspicious if everything can be fresh. I stuck to anything homemade and fresh pasta. So I chose meatballs for starter and seafood ravioli for main. Both were good, particularly the fresh pasta. I was visiting Newcastle so I am not a regular, but... More

Really looking forward to the night ..treating friends to a meal .soup was watered down and I had the calzone pizza and it took 90 minutes and burnt on top and slightly warm on bottom. The wine waiter was abrupt and the waiter pushed everything down on the table. A truly dissapinting night. It also cost over 100 pounds.

Have been quite a few times. Usually enjoy the food. Manager is always a touch on the rude side. Went last night. Had the buffalo pizza which was awful. Huge slices of tomato - way too thick - which made the pizza sloppy. We also had the crab, crayfish and chilli risotto. There was crayfish in it but no crab... More
