Lovely evening, spacious table with great service and stunning food, staff really made a fuss of our 7yr old daughter with the kids cocktails! Would visit weekly if we didn't live in Essex.

Good food,Great service but could do with more staff as the staff on a Tuesday night were running around like crazy ! Always polite and helpful. Atmosphere outside on a balmy evening just nice.

Went here after my daugher's graduation and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very full but the lovely irish waiter Lee looked after us very well. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he went out of his way to get us served. We waited quite a while for our mains but they were lovely when they eventually came. Would... More

Came here on a Wednesday night for a meal with some supplier from work. It was very busy and people who walked in were getting turned away for a table. The food was amazing, fillet steak perfectly cooked, and the cocktails were to die for. Very nice resturant, lovely food, and the experience was made even better by our server... More

Gusto, on Newcastle's buzzy waterfront, is normally a safe bet for a good meal but on the day we went it was pretty hopeless. On waitress (who truly cared and tried very hard) had a stupid amount of tables to serve and as a result our dinner was very slow, haphazard and a bit of a disappointment.

Visited here with my husband for a romantic dinner. Yummy food served by very pleasant and helpful staff made this a very memorable visit for us. Both were suitable full and thought we might need help leaving the building! Would highly recommend the brownie pudding for any chocoholics out there.

We'd been looking forward to trying gusto for some time so went for a special occasion. We were left being very disappointed. The restaurant itself is designed beautifully very clean and modern and the staff were lovely and helpful. We got a tomato Garlic bread for starter which was lovely and a great size however the mains were a big... More

We were there on a Monday evening, and there was a real buzz to the place, maybe because it was such a mild evening. We had the tuna seared steaks which were done perfectly and the lobster and prawn pasta dish, perfect , all washed down with a great red wine from Chile, perfect!

Description
As if the Gateshead Millennium Bridge and the Baltic Art Gallery weren't enough reason to visit Newcastle's Quayside, there is also Gusto. Make the most of those sunshine days on the beautiful terrace, and when the evening (or the clouds) draw in, step inside the large, lively bar - with a superb choice of wines and cocktails. Add a 200-year-old olive tree, sprinkled in fairy lights, and Gusto Newcastle makes any day magical.
