Good find

Read all the reviews online and decided to give it a shot. Garden roll was fresh and good, Beef salad tangy and fresh while beef pho didnt quite live up to my expectation but overall good meal so will definitely be back. Will recommend if you are looking for a Vietnamese fare. Friendly service

I love this little restaurant! I loved it when it was little Saigon, though admittedly it was desperate for a face lift, and now that's been accomplished I love it even more! It's the only place in Newcastle to get pho fix!! I'd be devastated if they closed as I don't think there are any other Vietnamese places in town.... More

I have eaten here twice, one in 2014 and again in 2015. The make over is lovely, the atmosphere very relaxed. I ate here alone and was made to feel very welcome. The food is just delicious, I had steak with sweet potato fries after a starter of mango salad, of course finished with a Vietnamese coffee. A truly precious... More

Having travelled in the Far East for many years I can honestly say that the food here is as good as and authentic as in Vietnam itself. The service was as friendly and knowledgeable as the food was good. I believe it has recently been refurbished, it is certainly modern with a nice ambience.

Ordered the beef noodles, spring roll and papaya salad. The portion of the beef noddles was really.big and they give u a generous amount of beef in it. Spring rolls were just how it should be, served with peanut sauce while the papaya salad was really refreshing. Particularly loved the ambience, with slow jazz music playing in the background, making... More

This informal restaurant on the busy Bigg Market has usually turned out excellent food, and has re-opened after a big makeover! It now has a clean and modern look, but fortunately the chef is still there, and producing excellent food. The menu is slightly less extensive than previously, but some of the old favourites remain - chilli squid, caramel chicken,... More

Been here a few times since it reopened and the lunch menu is amazing value and great food. For less than the price of a McDonalds you can have a fresh, spicy sandwich, sweet potatoe fries and drink, all delicious and quick. Good service too. Recommended either the Pho soups or sandwiches for lunch.

I came across the restaurant by chance when looking for somewhere to eat on Sunday evening, after I'd had a very long day and needed to relax. I'm so glad that I made the effort to go into the city centre. The staff were immediately attentive and welcoming, and the service very speedy. I love seafood, and the sizzling mixed... More

It is clear that the restaurant/cafe is under new management and it does look nice inside after the refurbishment, but I couldn't help but feel that the previous decor was more authentic. The new decor is lighter and more spacious, but the only things I could really see that was particularly asian was a little Buddha statue and a little... More
