We came in for a quick drink and I have to say it was quite an achievement to be ignored by 3 members of staff. One member of staff was clearing plates while playing Pokémon Go.

This pub has a lovely garden out back which on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night has a lovely post-work drinks atmosphere. The staff are always polite and friendly and the food is served swiftly. Keep it up!

Admittedly Sundays are hard days to find a pub that serves food in Guildford. But I had remembered the Drummond from some years ago, when friends lived locally, as an atmospheric pub that did good food. I had the sausage and mash tonight. It arrived so quickly (not complaining about speedy service) that it has clearly been microwaved. The sausages... More

What a lovely find for traditional good food. We met here as a family and was so impressed by the food served at the Drummond. It was so good using fresh and quality ingredients. The yorkshires were a work of art huge and delicious . We polished off the mains and the desserts were equally good and I can ddefinitely... More

A nice pub with a good bar and outside space and a decent selection of beers. There were a couple of items on the menu which were not available but we did go in early evening on Bank Holiday Monday. The food tries to be gastro-pub but it's really not. My baby leeks in the lamb dish (pictured) were gritty... More

Dropped by for early Sunday dinner. We had roast beef, and also fish and chips. The fish was fresh and had a tasty beer batter, peas were slightly minted...not my Dave would suggest straight up traditional mushy peas to go with cod, Beef was good , with lots of veg and roast pots.tasty. Yorkshire pud could have been bigger or... More

Love this place , it's great for food and drinks. I avoid Sunday nights as they have a quiz and these annoy me but it is very popular so must be good for those who like to partake.

The cream of Guildford pubs. You'll find The Drummond just outside Guildford Cricket Club, but you won't find another like it. There's always something good on, even if it's just in the culinary sense, so park yourself on one of our old-school bar stools and indulge in a plate of superb seasonal pub food, which you can see being freshly prepared in our open kitchen. Plus we've got more wines, spirits and speciality beers than you can shake a wicket keeper at. Put it this way, we know our Pilsner from our Peroni.
Thank you to everyone that takes the time to review us! We appreciate all feedback and look forwards to seeing you again soon or meeting you for the first time.
