Four of us went here for lunch. The location is hard to beat, in the middle of Wotton Estate woodlands - picturesque and peaceful. . The staff were very pleasant and we were offered seating in or outside. Given the great weather, we opted for...More

Hi there, we are disappointed you felt your sausage roll was not good value for money. This is off the bar snack/light bites menu so in all honesty we are not trying to make it something it's not and I can assure you it's heated...More

Came here for lunch and food was absolutely delicious & service very friendly. Location is also lovely - we walked around the lake and in the woods afterwards. Perfect pub lunch!

Three of us visited last weekend and oddly the roasts ranged from average to very good. Plenty of staff but service was disappointingly slow and had to go up to ask for our order to be taken and again when we wanted to pay. Nice...More

Thanks for your kind words Andy and so glad you chose our pub to celebrate your wife's birthday. We pride ourselves on the selection of local produce we offer - food and drink - and of course on Sunday you'll find the brewer himself behind...More

So looks like this drab, dreary, atmospherically lacking pub doesn’t like criticism! The food, given the cost and portion side, was overpriced, bland, over cooked and nothing really special at all! I was part of the rest of the party, who couldn’t be bothered to...More

We do listen to all feedback and are not arrogant. We care deeply about our service and our staff work hard to ensure all guests have an enjoyable visit. Concerns raised at the time are always dealt with, like they were on your visit. I...More

We visited for lunch as a group of 8. Lovely pub and surroundings, but let down on this occasion by the service and the manager/owner was not particularly warm/friendly. Had to ask for drinks and, again, needed to ask after 45 mins of waiting for...More

Dear Anna, sorry that you felt we didn't attend to your concerns. As far as I recall there was one sandwich missing from the order and this was rectified immediately. Groups of 6+ - especially walking groups - are advised to pre-order, that way we...More
