We came here after looking forward to it for ages and were exited as it looks great with a good looking menu. We first had the popadom basket for two, looks good value at £1.50 but then on the bill was £2.25 for the chutney, not so good altogether. For starters I had tandoori quail and my wife had tandoori... More

I've visited here on a number of occasions and it's lovely each time! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food is always delicious! The best Indian in Newmarket by far! I especially like going here due to the wine glasses! They are amazing! Some may class it pricey but it is lovely food! Booking required on weekend or... More

We had a mixed platter to start with a poppadom basket, it was well presented and the onion salad was fresh. I had sea-bass on new potatoes and Spinach the was also vet nice with a salad to accompany it. The menu had a large selection of rice and Nan. Excellent

This was our first visit to Montaz. We usually visit another establishment in Newmarket on a rare night out due to driving past Montaz daily and not even realising it was there!! I'm so pleased we discovered it. I booked a table on the day of the Carnival so they were very heavily booked for the evening but fitted us... More

Worked in Newmarket a couple of years ago and loved Montaz so it was the first place I headed to when I found myself working here again with my husband. The food is as fresh, unique and delicious as I remembered. Indian food is my favourite of all and from the many many restaurants I have visited along the way... More

Arrived and had our usual poppadoms both plain and spicy with the pickles, then we ordered the curry with aloo gobi, I opted for chicken jalfrezi and lemon and chilli rice. Curries were very good. I then order the cheesecake which is worth having as it is excellent 😊 The service is always excellent here.

Excellent food with a unique, contemporary twist. Excellent service. I can't imagine using a different Indian restaurant now as they wouldn't compare. For the quality of food, I thought the price was very good: £42 for 3 of us, including a basket of poppadoms, 3 mains + 3 sides, a wine & a Pepsi.

High quality S Asian cuisine and friendly service. Choco-samosas are the pieces de resistance. Modern decor and good lighting but it tends to be noisy when restaurant is full, with much echoing..

Come and try this restaurant - it's like being in London. The food is fabulous. Very jolly atmosphere, lots of racing celebs!
