We popped into Lavenham and found this nice little Cafe at the top of the Hill. We even bought a bronze hare from here as we collect them. Lovely red pepper soup

This has to be one of the best typically English Tea rooms in England. A unique and quirky period property, in a unique and quirky period village, that offers a good range of food and drinks, as well as a glimpse back into the past. The whole village is worth a visit and this is probably only one of a... More

A brilliant place to stop for tea and a scone. Very friendly staff and very generous portions - highly recommended if you need a place to stop in Lavenham!

Do not visit here unless you do so on an empty stomach otherwise you may find you are not able to do justice to the huge and delicious afternoon tea they serve. It really has to be seen to be believed. It felt more like eating a 3 course lunch! Everything is very fresh, sandwiches made to order and the... More
