This was a nice find. The brewery is still working and is visible inside what is a really nice restaurant. Real ales can be found here, and they allow a tasting selection of several wines. Some good nibbles are available, though we didn't try the...More

Mothers' Day lunch. A good selection of 3 courses at £22.50. The food was well-cooked, well-presented and well-served. What more could you ask for? Perhaps a little more time to digest. There is a pleasant buzz about the place.

Had a great meal on a cold Saturday night in January. Lovely atmosphere, superb food, good beer and wine as well as reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and innovative with a wooden wedge to even out our wonky table. Sampled the sea bass which...More

Situated in a micro brewery, this restaurant has an interesting menu with plenty of choice. Most restaurants seem to be closed on Mondays in Bury St. Eds, but this one was both open and full. I was looking for somewhere to take a work colleague...More

Hi, Just seen the question and a bit late answering but they do have food for a vegetarian and best checking when going on website or ring. My partner is a vegetarian and always enjoyed the food there.

The Old Cannon is a Brewery, Bar, Brasserie and Bed & Breakfast. Our brasserie menu (Cannon Fodder) changes with the seasons and has starters and main dishes for all tastes and appetites and, if you are still ready for more, our puddings and British cheeseboard are definitely worth saving space for. There are at least three daily changing specials. For those with a smaller appetite, many of the most popular main courses are offered as a light main too.
