Very upset with Pizza Express. Normally I have a great meal here with great service but last night it was 'pretty bad'! The staff were rude and our pizza was brought out whilst we were still eating our starters- the waiter said 'oh sorry your pizzas are done now' and put them down and walked off. The manager (I assume)... More

Decided to go for Pizza getting away from the kitchen on Boxing Day for Lunch. The food was poor, we had to wait a very long time something wrong in the kitchen, oven not working, not enough cooks.

Went here for lunch. Pizza was okay, standard chain restaurant fare. The staff though was something else. I think the hormones are clouding their ability to focus. It was as if they were more interested in flirting with each other rather than getting the job done. I know they all work long hours and probably only socialise with each other... More

Called in here on the off chance of getting a table. We were greeted by friendly staff and shown to a table. The menu was varied (as one has come to expect) but they also had offers on for complete 2 or three course meals, that included free glasses of prosecco. My wife had been a little unwell that day,... I hadn't been here for a while because my last experience wasn't so good but I think they've really upped their game. We shared a pizza and salad and were really impressed not only by the quality of the food but the very professional and friendly waiter/manager. Will definitely come again.

Visited this restaurant when Christmas Market was on at a busy lunchtime. There was a queue but we were happy to wait. Table for four allocated which we said we were willing to share with the couple behind us in the queue. Manager said only if we were sure but we were under no obligation. He was pleasant and efficient... More

Staff stayed focussed whilst chaos reigned....very busy because of the Christmas Market but all the front of house staff were smiling. Slightly disappointed there wasn't more cauliflower on my pizza but the wholefood salad was massive and inviting. Despite the crush we weren't hurried and were able to relax and 'reboot' before resuming our shopping.

We visited today right in the middle of the Bury Christmas Market! It was understandably busy so we were told it would be a 15 minute wait. In reality it was no more than 5 minutes before we were seated! Service was prompt, waiters/waitresses all had smiles on their faces and food was fab! :)

No excuse but vegetarian pizza served on same plate as meat pizza. Only one dip served with dough balls instead of three. Won't be visiting again.

My boyfriend loves coming here, it's very convenient and somehow we always manage to get a parking spot directly out front. (Evenings only) Staff are always brilliant and food is great, whenever we've had a problem they are quick to put it right.
