Great to have our dogs welcomed. One of the staff even stopped to fuss them Food was great. Loved my goats cheese sandwich with tomato and rocket which was made to order. Rest of the party had cheese scones with onion marmalade and pieces of cheese Prices were good value for quality of food Service was quick and pleasant

We stopped in at Really Rather Good cafe because it is dog friendly. The cream tea we had was great and the staff were excellent! The scones were tasty and the vast selections of tea meant we could all have something different. The cafe even has a tea smelling box where you can test smell the teas!! Lovely afternoon was... I used to walk by this cafe when walking my dogs, wishing I could go in. Then one day I tied up my dogs outside the door to run in and get a quick takeaway coffee, they told me to come in with my dogs. Dog walking has never been the same! Nice friendly staff, good coffee and a nice... More

A lovely café, with both internal and external seating, situated on a prominent corner between the main town centre and the Abbey Gardens, this culinary delight caters for coffee lovers right through to full lunches and beyond. Arranged internally with a series of mirrored bays, the compact size is excellently handled to render the interior light, bright and airy. Excellent... More

This is another of those lovely independent coffee shops that deserve support as they do offer such good quality. It is so nice to enjoy the home made food, well brewed tea and coffee and wonderful locally made ice cream. I would love to find this elsewhere, especially somewhere close to our Derbyshire home but so far, no such luck.... More

Enjoyed a full afternoon tea while watching wedding parties etc. Great choice of real fresh tea and food freshly prepared. Only wish the selection of cakes and sandwiches might have been greater but really is rather good

We had spent to afternoon in the Abbey Gardens and crossed the road to look for somewhere to have a relaxing drink. Really Rather Good was in the perfect position right opposite. It was very warm, sunny weather and all outside seating was taken to we went in and sat by the window watching the world go by. I had... More

Decided to avoid the rather overpriced breakfast in The Angel, almost next door, and try this little corner cafe. Glad we did. A brace of bacon butties and a couple of coffees set us up nicely for the rest of our weekend. And the price was a little more appetising.
