I use this coffee room fairly regularly, the service is always good, it's not pretentious and trying to be something it's not. Just nice food at a good price - oh and I have just been informed it's fairly Slimming World friendly. So no massive amounts of oil etc

Called in for lunch last week. The restaurant was very busy and we took the last table. Toastie and scone were very nice. Service was very good and fast. It was a bit noisy in the room but it didn't spoil our lunch.

This is a favourite place for me and two girlfriends to meet up for afternoon tea and cake. It's also popular with tourists, couples, families and shoppers to take lunch or simply relax with a good cuppa (or cold drink). There's an extensive menu featuring the usual suspects jacket potatoes and toasted sandwiches as well as a plethora of hot... More

Toasted granary bread sandwich: turkey, cheese, coronation mayo and tomato. Served with a little green salad and coleslaw. Very good. A small negative: very noisy!

Been here before and previously services was hap hazard. Lots of waitress on duty, not quite full, but incredibly slow service including table next to us. Had to ask to place order, then said lady on next table had been waiting and told not yet she will be next, ever heard about taking two orders at same time? Some advice... More

Often have breakfast here on a Saturday. A real treat. Honestly the best bacon sandwich in Suffolk. Good sized portions served by very friendly staff. A real diamond in Bury St Edmunds.

Great spot on a secluded street however the food left something to be desired... My tuna mayo sandwich had a thick layer of butter which was bizarre to say the least, the coleslaw was warm and the salad tasted kinda like dirt. Dessert was amazing though, I had the red velvet cake and the cream cheese frosting was divine!

We visit Bury St Edmunds quite a bit as we have family here. They suggested trying Baileys 2 for lunch. Been here twice now & their sandwiches are delicious! It does get very busy but the food is always worth waiting for. The staff are lovely to. Next time I think we will try the cakes!

When my boyfriend and I are in the area we always go to Baileys 2 for breakfast. The pancakes are yummy and the cooked breakfast will fill you up for the day. I've also been in there for tea and cake. The cakes are lovely, especially the carrot cake and chocolate brownie. The service is always friendly and welcoming.
