Had an anniversary dinner here, and the tuna steak they had on specials board was hands down one of the best fish meals I ever had, absolutely stunning! And desserts were just mouthwatering with very nice attention to detail. would definitely recommend.

We come back to this restaurant every year and it provides a consistently lovely experience. The food is great, the wine is lovely, and the owner usually pops up for a chat, which is really nice.

Have been coming here for years - great as a couple / date type affair, or for a bigger group. Used to refused to come here since they took away the Toy Shop of my childhood memories to build the place. And then came here years ago when couldn't get a table at Lighthouse. And loved it! Interesting menu, solid... More

We arrived early without a reservation and we're happy to get a table. The first thing I noticed on the specials were grilled scallops with bacon on mash. After the oyster entree, they were a delightful main. The staff were rushing us a bit, but after making it clear that we wanted to pace our meal, they were complied beautifully... More

Popped in with no reservation for a Friday night dinner. We were seated immediately and so well look after by everyone it was a pleasure. The food was served quickly and was delicious as was the wine which was fantastic and reasonably priced. We were made to feel wanted and everything was really fab. Special thanks to Anita who did... After reading such good reviews felt very lucky to get a table at such short notice. Friendly staff showed us table where I read on the front of the menu the history of the owner leading me to think what a great meal and evening we were in for. How wrong I was! Prompt service and starters good quickly followed... More

Birthday dinner for 2. 7pm nice seat by the window... Fish soup for me - soup lovely but the aioli (good) covered 'crouton' was (or certainly seemed to me) to be a slice of bread so without the butter/oil had immediately gone soggy. Questioned this and was brought something akin to melba toast made from a flute. Me and my... More

Had lunch there a couple of Sundays ago and what a great decision this was. So nice to see that some restaurants still focus on flavours and quality of ingredients. Best Fish Soup, I had in a long time and I like to think that I know my fish soups since I have grown up in Brittany. Lovely local roast... More

Had an early evening meal here with husband and 12 year old son. We prefer to eat early and fortunately this restaurant opens at 6pm. We all had something different from the menu and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My starter of smoked prawns with garlic mayo was huge and very tasty, and my main of chicken breast stuffed with...
