Queued for ages...waited in anticipation. Not as good as the hype! Did not bother returning. Went elsewhere and had better.

Excellent, excellent and excellent price value. Will definitely be going back. Do not be put off by the queue. It goes quickly. Cash only I think.

Aldeburgh fish and chips was recommended to us by a colleague and certainly did not dissapoint. Although the queue stretched down the road it moved along quickly and service was very fast. Crispy fish and great chips perfect to be eaten on the beach....

The enormous queues outside this fish and chip shops tell you more than an internet review would. Their fish is great: fresh tasting, light, crispy and well seasoned (but has the skin on). The chips are also quite good, thick cut and taste fresh. Prices are very good. People are queueing along the street even before it opens for a... More

Ordered Cod and chips a fish cake and a sausage. the fish was dry and very bony, chips were very greasy and the fish cake was horrid. This place used to be brilliant and has gone down in my estimation...will be a very long time before we return. Not recommended at all...

Visiting Aldeburgh for the bank holiday weekend and was recommended the fish and chips from here.Upon arrival, the size of the queue was daunting but indicated the quality of the food. The menu was limited to cod, haddock and place but all was was cooked well. Only small criticism would be that owing to the extra bank holiday volumes, the... More

Really, really excellent fish, but the chips were surprisingly average. Maybe just got here at the wrong time. That said, I'd come here again.
