Good grocers selling various local produce including homemade humus, local cheeses, savoury and sweet biscuits and other useful things like salads, olives etc.

Had a really delicious lunch. I chose the Singapore noodles - such lovely subtle flavours. Nice friendly helpful staff too. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for a special meal.

Me and my friends stopped off at this quiet little stop while on a cycle ride to refuel. I ordered poached eggs on toast which in its self was well cooked. (Well it is only eggs on toast!) But the reason for only 2*s was the fact that the lady who was serving us reminded me of Cruella de Vil,... More

We went there with the family. Friendly staff. Some of us had the crab which was rather bland. The salad was fresh but not exciting! The cod was fresh but the skin was very soggy.. Crab salad £11.95. Cod £11.75.

I had never been in this restaurant until a couple of months ago but I decided to give it try. I had a king tempura prawns in a coconut birth which was just amazing! I liked it so much I came back the very next day as I asked them to save me a portion! Will definitely visit here over... More

We dropped in for a light lunch, and were very impressed with the quality of food, and the friendly service. Everything down to the chutneys and garlic mayonnaise were home made, beautifully presented, and quickly served. Next doors deli and market shop sold many of the ingredients. A real gem.

Visiting Aldeburgh for the day, and wanted a cup of tea and cake. Such a lovely afternoon and was able to sit outside. Tea came in lovely pots and plenty of it. Wonderful choice of cakes, I had coffee and walnut, and was superb. Brother had lemon cake and also first class. Excellent place and staff superb. This is one... More

I had South Indian fish curry, and it was delicious - fresh, delicate, perfectly spiced. I wish I could go back and eat it all over again. We nearly didn't go in, as it looks like a cafe, or, er, maybe a market. The frontage lets it down. But it was very busy and is obviously very popular on here,... More

We ate both lunch and breakfast at the Market and were delighted with it. Portions are generous, the dishes are cooked with love and the prices are remarkably friendly. In fact in the cource of a week in the area, the food here was the most memorable.
