Prompt service provided by friendly staff. Nice bright dining area, with some tables having a view across to the beach. Good selection of food on the a la carte menu which we chose from. However the the food was ok but overpriced for the quality. There is a fixed price menu which in retrospect was probably better value.

We went to Brasserie Bleue specifically because they have moules on the menu. My mum's side of the family is Flemish and, as I told the waitress, these were the best I have had outside of Antwerp! I meant to do a review straightaway but forgot until prompted by TripAdviser, I shall be staying in Aldebrough later this month and... More

To add to what I said on the hotel review. We enjoyed our meal here but would we eat here if we hadn't been staying at the hotel - sadly, no. The staff are lovely & Emily, extremely on the ball re gluten free. Lack of sophistication elsewhere - fish platter very good (hot smoked salmon, mackerel, trout & horse... More

Staying in Aldeburgh and looking for somewhere different to eat we booked a table at Brasserie Bleue and we're delighted by the quality of the food and reasonable prices. Really fresh haddock a delicious lobster and a very tasty quiche with very short buttery pastry. A simple dessert of strawberries and cream finished off a lovely meal, haute cusine it... More

Thank you for taking the time to review the Brasserie Bleue, I was very pleased to hear you enjoyed James's new menu and that the Wimbledon inspired strawberries and cream was a hit You must join us again and try a few a James's classics such as the boeuf bourguignon or Victoria's French classic dessert Paris Brest Kind regards Peter More

We have been here several times for lunch and the food is of a consistently high standard. The last time we went the butterfly sardines were great and fish pie had lovely depth of flavour the cheese board was very generous with a fantastic selection. It's good to know that the food here can be relied upon. Staff are lovely... More

Booked for my sister's 60th Birthday weekend. Good food with friendly service and a glass of prosecco and a gorgeous birthday desert for my sister which was very thoughtful and made the evening that extra bit special. Relaxing and enjoyable dining.

We ate at Braserie Bleue twice. Both times the meal, wine and service were first class. I would gladly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Don't miss it!

We booked this for Sunday Lunch before travelling home after a weekend break, it was decided to book after reading reviews. On arrival we were greeted with a friendly smile and shown to our table. For a Sunday Lunch the menu had good varied selection of meals, and after ordering the food came quickly and was well presented and tasted... More

Unfortunately we had poor meal this evening. So looking forward to it after looking at the website, but it was completely under staffed, the service was poor. The standard of food was very for the poor price paid. Would not recommend!
