A nice meal in an outstanding outdoor location overlooking the beach & sea but spoiled by initial poor service. Service did improve thankfully.

Called in for a quick cup of coffee. Met Rob Dixon who persuaded us to stay for lunch! Nice lunch menu. We asked for sandwiches which were not listed on the menu. He spoke to chef and we were obliged. The crab open sandwich was delightful and came with crisps and a tasty side salad. My wife had open salmon... More

Great location, decor and menu. Let down by poor service. The two of us were shown to a table quickly and given a carafe of water. Then waited 15 minutes with no further attention despite tables around us being served. Left disappointed 😟

Came with dog so sat on terrace for Sunday lunch, liked you could get small appetisers and lush oysters. Wine was reasonably priced and a very good selection. Loved the different gins, with choice of tonic, glass and garnish. Loved the lobster and hubby enjoyed his fresh local fish

The food here isn't cheap but it is very good and beautifully presented. We had the scallops and half a lobster each and they were very fresh and well cooked. As for my passion fruit brulée, I'm still dreaming about it!

We had a night away to celebrate my birthday and were staying nearby so came to the Seafood & Grill restaurant for a special meal. We were not disappointed. We tried some prawn appetisers which had a delicious sauce. I ordered the stone bass gnocchi and my husband ordered the fish and chips. Both tasted great with the fish tasting... More

We visited this restaurant yesterday lunchtime. We chose it because you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the sea view. The service is slow - we had to ask the waitress to take our order after she took the order of the people sitting next to us who had arrived after us - they had perhaps been before and... More

Bar manager William mixes a mean cocktail that`s unique to your personal tastes. My cocktail started with strawberry gin, but then he added grapefruit, corriander, vodka and a few other things! It was delicious.

We stopped here for lunch on a sunny day. Lovely sea view from the terrace with lots of attractive and colourful outdoor seating. We ate a light lunch which was served efficiently and pleasantly. Public rooms seem very attractive, but we didn't see any rooms obviously. Good selection of wines by the glass and an enticing selection of gins.

Description
The Seafood & Grill restaurant is a wonderful place to relax and soak up panoramic views along the beach, whatever the time of year, though if you are lucky enough to visit during summer, you can take full advantage of the sea-facing al fresco terrace. It has a relaxed ambience and restaurant staff are slick and friendly. Menus at the restaurant at The Brudenell Hotel are full of seasonal produce, sourced from local suppliers. Head chef James Barber is responsible for creating the appealing modern European dishes on offer; his specialty is good honest food done well, like salt beef hash with a fried egg and sweet potato fries, or his own version of fish and chips. The extensive wine list offers the discerning drinker plenty of choice, and good value for money.
