One of the best indian meals we've had! Did our usual trick of ordering too much though so it looked like we left a lot. We loved it!

The restaurant atmosphere was perfect though small restaurant. Food was fabulous, service was fantastic.Very friendly staffs very helpful. Highly recommend never be disappointed.
I went there many times and never disappointed.Honestly food is always great and delicious. Staff are always friendly and polite. I asked one of staff for surprising me with something of his choice, really he surprised me with really really taste and nice curry. Small...place but really lovely food and friendly staff. Highly recommended.More
Average food. Average prices. Shabby loos. More importantly, whilst not rude, the service was distinctly disinterested.
The food was really delicious. The vindaloo had a good kick to it and the aloo gobi was very tasty. The chilli tikka naan was also quite yummy. And honestly, it's a good job the food was of such a good standard, as it made...up for the borderline rudeness of the staff.More
Our visit didn't get off to a good start when we were "greeted" with a mutter and told "that one" when we asked if they had a table for 2, Poppadoms were served with the standard relishes that poor Indian restaurants have been serving since...the 70's. The second we had finished these the starters were shoved onto the table. We both had prawn puree. Tasteless with small precooked prawns. Again the second you put your fork down then the main course was thrust at you. I got a few lumps of chicken in a gellatinuous tasteless sauce reminiscent of a bad cook-in-sauce from a jar. I would have given a terrible rating except that my wife said her lamb curry was ok. Miserable staff, faded pictures on the wall. poor food fairly well thrown at you didn't make for a good experienceMore
Curry tasteless and like water Onion bhaji raw and soggy Nan bread hard and chewy Will never return.
the food here is quite good but nothing special, the decor is pretty grim it's a bit like eating in a staff canteen this would all be ok,however the staff are borderline rude , no please or thank you, it's as if they are doing...you a favour here's a bit of advice for all of them 'Smile' !!!More
Absolutely best Indian iv had for a long time I regularly have Indian food and to be honest this is up there with the best We’ll done 👌
All the usual Indian staples on offer here. The Sunday and Monday “Meal Deal” is exceptional value for money; starter, main, side and rice or nan for £12.99, with no reduction in quality or portion size as can sometimes be the case. Service friendly, but...just a little erratic, but nevertheless fully recommended. Only small, so best to book.More
Lovely food great meal deal Sunday and Monday for £12.99. Best to book a table as the restaurant is small.
Just eaten here tonight - lovely clean restaurant - pleasant staff and the food clean as in not floating in ghee - tasty and would definitely come here again - well done!
We visited the Rajah Spice today whilst staying in tbe area, I have to say the food and service are excellent. We booked a table at the last minute but tbey were more than happy to accommodate us. The food was full of taste, cooked...to perfection and was more than enough for two of us. We would recommend the Rajah to anyone who visits Wells If ever in the area again we will definitely be coming back 👍More
We were in Wells as strangers in a strange land, I ordered online becaiuse my yorkshire saccent couldnt be understood by any of the locals and when the email arrived confirming payment , i had missed the col;lection only bit. I managed to talk to...the staff to get directions for me to collect but they said it was a bit quiet and they would deliver to us. True to their worg the most delicious food was delivered piping hot and the young man refused to take a fiver tip for his delivery. Impressed/ you bet i am and the next time down here i will be sat in the restaurant hopefully to sample more of this food. My dish was a prawn sag and the spinach was really fresh tasting and the prawns cooked to perfection, My other half raved about the chicken balti. Both dishes were perfect and didnt have any excess oil or ghee that you get in some curries. Nan breads were perfect, in fact as you can tell I loved the whole experience. Well done boys and keep up the good work.More
My wife and I have been eating food from the Indian sub - continent for over 50 years - both in the UK and in Asia. The meal we had last night was up there with the best.
