Delicious, reasonably priced food and plenty of it. Relaxed atmosphere. A busy restaurant is always a good sign, counter sevice with plenty of seating. I liked that you can help yourself to tap water to drink. Would definitely visit again.

had a wonderful quiche with four different salads accompanied by the best garlic bread ever. Queued for service which was quick. Faultless lunch. Rustic venue.

This is a great place for anyone who enjoys tasty vegetarian food. It was recommended to me by a friend who is not vegetarian but it is his first choice when visiting Wells. I was not disappointed. The place is popular with locals and tourists. The staff are helpful and efficient and there are plenty of tables in this large... More

We always have a good look at the menu first - my wife is coeliac and so needs a gluten free option. Fortunately, there were a range of things she could go for. Too often, gluten free dishes are a poor imitation of "the real thing" (usually in smaller portions at higher prices). The Good Earth offered delicious alternatives so... More

Had a lunch here, wouldnt normally visit a veggie eatery however the beautiful mix of ingredients and yummy food on offer drew us in, and it certainly didnt disappoint. The most yummy curried dahl we have tasted other than at our making. The salad mixes, breads and quiches on offer looked scrummy. Many thanks

Fabulous food, generous portions, an attractive variety of dining rooms and mostly really friendly staff. On my recent visit, my friend and I ate cottage pie which was totally delicious. When I asked about the recipe, our extremely helpful waitress gave it to me in detail and advised me on how to join the mailing list for recipes and news.... More

We'd read reviews this establishment so after visiting the Cathedral, we took a short walk from the city centre to The Good Earth. Even though it was lunchtime, there was plenty of seating. Great food, plenty of vegan options - sweet potato tagine with couscous was very tasty. Pizza and salads recommended by non-veggie partner. Tap water available. Lovely little... More

Amazing food, excellent service and friendly staff. Lots of attention to detail where it matters apart from the cutlery which feels like it came out of a school refrectory! Throw the hideous knives and forks away and get something that reflects the quality of the food and atmosphere!
