The food here is lovely. The waitresses are lovely. The owner is rude and patronising. I've eaten here many times and the above comments have been true in each occasion. Shame he brings it down.

Hotel room was comfortable and smart. Basin tap needs fixing as it doesn't turn off properly. We had an evening meal there. A strange size for a steak, 6oz, and quite expensive. The steak pie was a bit chewy. No one asked if the meal...More

We visited few days apart with different family and the food on both occasions was brilliant. Sunday roast was presented great and was well cooked. Seafood Linguine was brilliant. Desserts were delicious also. A nicely varied menu will be visiting again

Went for dinner Monday night. Food came quickly, very tasty and well worth a visit. Interior looks like an old pub as it was built to incorporate the old building. Service was great too.

Friendly service, good pub food, cold beer and cider and such a cool atmosphere with old antique signs everywhere. Such a fun place to dine! Much better for lunch than the other places in town which were pretty limited. The burger was good (brioche bun...More

We called in again for lunch with a friend who was visiting from London. He had never visited Glastonbury and so was looking forward to the experience. Having had good meals here before, we suggested that we call him for lunch. They always cater for...More
