We are locals and use GiGis several times a year. The outside looks a bit tatty (but that also goes for most of Glastonbury!) but the inside is well lit and comfortable. It is the food that is the real attraction. There is the usual stock Italian Fare but the fish specials "on the board" are particularly good. Service is... More

We stopped in on a busy Friday evening after reading all the excellent reviews and were not disappointed. We were made to feel welcome immediately and although we hadn't booked we were found a table and enjoyed a beautiful spaghetti bolognese and lasagne. Atmosphere very friendly and hosts were very warm and helpful! If you are nearby, stop in and... More

We live in Glastonbury and try to ensure that at least once a month or two we go to Gigis. They have known us for many years, and always welcome us enthusiastically, despite the fact that they probably get very bored that we tend to order the same thing! Two beautiful pizzas and a bottle of wine for under £30... More

What a friendly welcome we received when visiting Gigi's. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice on the menu (pizza, pasta and typical Italian cuisine) and an extensive specials board. Shame we live so far away as this would definitely be a regular place to eat for us! Five star food in Glastonbury!

We were a party of 10 celebrating my granddaughters 21st a week before Christmas. She chose this restuarant which as the title refers - a bustling Italian eatery. I chose the scallops from the 'specials' menu and asked them to ensure they came with roes (the best bit). When it arrived the plate contained 4 scallops, only 1 of which... More

Came here for an evening meal. Welcomed by staff who showed us to our table by a fish tank of small fish, and a waiter came quickly to ask if we wanted to order our drinks, which we did, and they came quickly. A menu soon followed and we were told there was also a specials board which was easily... More

Whenever staying in Glastonbury we always make a point of eating at Gigi's. The staff are friendly and even though we're only there once every three or four months they remember us. The food is 'home cooked' with an open kitchen, so you can see it being prepared and always good quality. it can get a bit warm in there... More

I went with my dad and step mum for a belated birthday meal the starter was nice although stingy on the sauce but the pizza I wasn't keen on at alll really pudding was lush as well but when you go to an Italian restaurant and the pizza lets you down that's not great

Thank goodness for this delicious restaraunt! Although Glastonbury has some lovely cafes, there are very few places to eat in the evening. I would certainly recommend here. The food is always good and there is always a good selection. The specials can be mouth watering! The cost is reasonable. Dinner for two with two courses and a glass of wine... More
