Stopped off for a light lunch and left feeling very full! Very nice coffee, had a jacket potato with cheese and beans and even though it wasn't on the menu they made the effort to make it, homemade coleslaw that came with it was AMAZING. The cheesey nachos were massive with heaps of sour cream, salsa and guacamole. Very very... More

Only had a cup of tea here but the service was good and ambience of the place even better. It has character and service with a smile. Would liked to have sampled the food as everything coming out of the kitchen looked very nice.

We popped in as it looked nice following our tour of Cheddar and the gorge, not really knowing what we were going to have - coffee and a cake, soup and a sandwich? We have eaten at Edelweiss many times and it always serves excellent home cooked food. Very clean, pleasant surroundings with friendly staff. Choice of size for meals, lovely home made puddings and cakes. All very reasonably priced. Not open evenings, which is a great shame!

We only had a short visit to Cheddar and stumbled across this cafe by chance one lunchtime. The fresh sandwiches were delicious and the lemon drizzle cake was even better. Well worth a visit :-)

Morning drink and a bacon sandwich me and tea and toast for the wife with table service before visiting the caves. Friendly waitress and nice food if a little on the pricey side.

Quick and friendly service – nice area to sit out the front. Had a cream tea which was tasty and filling.
