Food was excellent and good sized portions. Friendly and prompt service. Was busy and they tried to accommodate everyone. Worth placing a reservation over lunchtime to ensure you can get in.

Pleasantly surprised by this little gem.Friendly polite staff with a swift service. We were allowed to share an afternoon tea for one ,plenty to go round I have found this is frowned upon in other establishments.Good selection of cakes and teas.Loved the small milk bottles brought back memories! We will definitely be back

A lovely place, easy to find at base of gorge with parking. Best of all is wide range of gluten free all of which is fantastic. Fish & chips a special treat. Will return even it is just for breakfast or lunch. Staff are great too.

We have just had a really tasty lunchtime meal for 4 celebrating a birthday. The service was excellent, friendly, polite and prompt, the menu choice was excellent, the prices very reasonable, and the food home made and of the finest quality. In my experience the tastiest meal out I have had for quite some time. I would highly recommend this... More

Stopped for lunch, we both had the jacket potato with cheddar cheese and red onion marmalade which was sweet but with a tang and really pleasant. The jacket potatoes were well topped and a good size and served with a Mixed side salad with coleslaw and a portion of butter. Drinks One Coke and a bottle of sparking mineral waterVery... More

Really nice place to go and eat when visiting Cheddar or Cheddar Gorge. We had a breakfast and it was berth nice and I would really recommend the home baked scones too! The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our dog very welcome too. Would definitely go back

We had lunch here, and whilst not expensive, the food was just average. Not somewhere that I would choose to go again.

Visited today with my Mum for lunch, came across this little gem of a place by chance after walking around trying to find somewhere to eat. Zoe is a fab host friendly and obviously works very hard as she does not stop running around! What made this place amazing for us is the amount of gluten/dairy options available. We really... More

Started off promising being show to a table and given an extra menu. Brilliant we thought as we we're famished. 10 minutes later we had been ignored twice so got up and left. The place was not busy with a table outside looking to pay as they had waited so long for their bill and two other tables finishing off.... More

I'm extremely disappointed to read your review and I sincerely apologize that you were overlooked. What went wrong I do not know, but this is not something that usually happens and we pride ourselves in good, fast and efficient service. Indeed we have been awarded a TripAdvisor award for this year too. It is unsettling that you have put this... More

Tasty food, friendly staff, they were selling the best strawberries we'd ever tasted when we were there. Well worth it.
