Stumbled across this cafe at the entrance to the main village. Its very well decorated had a wide range of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and meals all for under £8! Portions huge, very happy and very yummy food

They served good food and nice quantities, so much so that we weren't able to finish 2 courses! Very friendly staff and great service. Not a lot of vegetarian options though

Visit today 6th October 2016 after reading other reviews, all I'm going to say is absolutely worth a visit fantastic place my Nan would of loved this place especially the China cups and saucers we were given with our tea ( blue for boys pink for girls ) some really good touches. Go visit you won't be disappointed.

When we first looked at this place it did not look much from outside and is located at the very end (village end) of the gorge. However the menu looked good so we went in for lunch. It was a truly great surprise. Menu was varied and covered lots of bases for dietary needs, particularly the Cieliac amongst us. Service... More

The food was delicious. The service was slow and getting the bill was a bit of a problem Computer troubles, I believe. Right beside a river. Lovely spot.

Stopped off for a light lunch and left feeling very full! Very nice coffee, had a jacket potato with cheese and beans and even though it wasn't on the menu they made the effort to make it, homemade coleslaw that came with it was AMAZING. The cheesey nachos were massive with heaps of sour cream, salsa and guacamole. Very very... More

Only had a cup of tea here but the service was good and ambience of the place even better. It has character and service with a smile. Would liked to have sampled the food as everything coming out of the kitchen looked very nice.

We popped in as it looked nice following our tour of Cheddar and the gorge, not really knowing what we were going to have - coffee and a cake, soup and a sandwich? My partner ended up ordering the full roast beef dinner which she really enjoyed, and I had a tuna melt panini and a side order of chips... More
