Wonderful homely tea rooms with the best ever scones in the cream tea I have ever tasted! Very friendly staff and a log burner fire made this a great visit....

Stopped here last week for lunch and a Cider. We were not disappointed by the reviews on here as it was absolutely gorgeous! Ate outside in the gardens but there is indoor seating avaliable. I ordered the soup & pasty (there was 3 choices of soup, all sounded delicious!), my boyfriend had one of the platters and the overall portions... More

Found this beautiful tea room (there are a great choice in this small area) and would go back again and again. Loose leave tea, of many varieties which pleased the other half. Cream tea was just delightful and very reasonably priced. Got a bit jealous when an afternoon tea of sandwiches and cakes went by. The service was delightful! Please... More

Stopped here for some lunch . My wife had a sandwich and cream tea . Cheddar cheese and chutney followed by a scone with jam and clotted cream perfect . I had mushroom and stilton soup which was delicious followed by a cream tea again perfect. A quaint tea rooms with friendly staff which I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

The service was a little slow, but the delicious and well-priced food definitely made up for the wait.

Yet again another 'gorgeous'(sorry) brekkie. Four of us visited with Groupon vouchers. As locals we can come here quite often and it's consistently good. Highly recommend.

We stumbled across this tea room after a long walk, and thought it was delightful! The menu was extensive for such a small place, and there was a choice of soups, sandwiches, ploughmans (with both cheese AND ham, as it should be!) and a whole page dedicated to different cream teas. We loved it and would definitely go back again.

If you struggle with (gluten-free) dietary requirements, this little gem won't let you down! We visited here during a trip to Cheddar Gorge and the staff were more than accommodating to us all, including the dog! There is plenty of choice, from an afternoon tea to a substantial meal, all of which are very reasonably priced. The tea rooms offer... More

Visited lion rock while camping just outside of Cheddar. Lovely setting, good service and possibly the best cream tea I've ever had... Lovely!
