My girlfriend and I had a short break away in Somerset and decided to visit Cheddar Gorge for a wander around. There are numerous tea rooms and cafe's to choose from, but Lion Rock Tea Rooms stood out above all the rest. It's a beautiful old property that is clearly looked after. We were greeted by the most polite lady... More

This quaint little Tea Rooms is high on our "must return to" list. We called in for the Traditional Breakfast one Sunday morning about 11am. The food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly. Very small little rooms inside made really cosy with the heater on to take the chill off the day. Very tempted by the offer to... More

This delightful little tea room must be visited if you enjoy delicious home made scones, jam, cheesy chips a scrumptious home made soup. Very quaint and tea served in bone china cups and saucers , proper tea ,no teabags to be seen. Surprisingly inexpensive, very good value. On a cold day, the welcoming little wood burner soon warms you up.

What a delightful find! We asked a local the best place to go for lunch and she didn't disappoint. As soon as we walked in we could see that the owners had thought of everything. 40's themed, even the staff were dressed in the style of the era. The decor was perfect and welcoming and the service likewise. The food... More

Never been to this cafe before but our daughter bought us a voucher for afternoon tea. Lovely welcome from a very efficient and friendly member of staff. Food was lovely with three choices of afternoon tea. Service was very prompt. Surprising number of people in the tearoom for a Tuesday in November which shows how good they are. Thoroughly enjoyed...
