A pleasant meal this week, the service was efficient, the food in my opinion fairly average, good mulligatawny soup, but just average chicken main dish which was a chef's special, probably the best bit was a really cold pint of Kingfisher on an exceptionally hot day. Would I return, yes Bath doesn't seem blessed with exceptional Indian restaurants

Went here for a double Birthday celebration on Saturday night and was very surprised by the venue being downstairs but tastefully decorated. Good service and nice food contributed to a lovely evening. We definitely come back again, as good value for money. Service charges are included in the bill so no need for tips.

Good to see Indian food looking natural rather than arriving in bright red and orange sauces with suspect colouring additives. Food tasty, even if my lamb was a tad on the tough side. Enjoyed by a party of five who regularly eat at Indian restaurants in and around Bath and close to being my preferred eatery. Decor a bit old... More

My husband and i managed to get a table here last minute on Saturday night. We received a warm and friendly welcome and were promptly shown to our table. Drinks and papadoms didn't take long to arrive. My husband and I both had chicken dishes for main, they were both delicious and flavoursome, the naan was the softest and fluffiest... More

Turned up with my partner on a Saturday night, it was empty. All we could think was why would it be empty on a Saturday. But my first experience here shown me why it was. First we got poppadoms, which you cant go wrong with. I ordered the house Rose as you could only have that from the glass- Not... More

We really enjoyed our visit here. We booked in advance and were delighted with our meal. Freshly made food, nicely presented with extremely friendly, polite and efficient staff. We ate the Chicken Dhansak which I have to say was one of the best I have eaten in a long time. It tasted delicious and very authentic. It was extremely reasonable... More

Went after a rugby match so establishment very busy. Didn't help that the match ran over the booked time. As for the booking, went with a local resident who had booked but the front of house manager denied the fact. It transpired that my friend had phoned when an answerphone was operating, he left the booking but it was not... More

Great value lunch, three course for £7.50. All very nice and so quiet, couldn't understand why there were only two of us in the place. Main course of chicken Madras with nan, nice starter and an ice cream, all nicely done.

March. Take-away. Every dish was cooked with too much ghee which made the dishes rather unpleasant. Went back two days later for a chicken tandoori and specifically requested some succulent/moist chicken as against dry as a bone. This was duly delivered which made up for the previous order's disappointment.
