My friends and I had planned a day trip to Bath on Saturday, March 25th. Having looked on Tripadvisor for places to eat at we thought it would be good to visit The Raven. I phoned the pub on the Thursday before to enquire about booking a table. I was told that they don't take bookings and that it is... More

Visited the venue on Wednesday afternoon,it was recommended by another publican whose pub had stopped serving lunches. It is tucked away down a side street and you go upstairs to the dining area. It is a nice, clean seating area but lacked any ambiance. There was no background music and although there were a few people in it had all the... More

Highly recommended The Raven from Les, taxi driver in Chipping Campden. Thanks Les!!You were absolutely correct, great pie for under 10GBP. Nice pub center of old town Bath. Good selection of beers also.

We ordered Raven pie and beef sausages and they were fabulous! Chips were great and nice sauce. Drinks were wonderful too. Raven beer!

Having visited all other recommended Real Ale pubs in Bath, The Raven was head & shoulders above the rest. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, very tasty pies and the best selection of beers, in tip top condition.

Located in the centre of Bath (just a 5 minutes walk from the Abbey and Roman Baths), The Raven offers the experience of a traditional British pub, full of pub atmosphere and local people. Large offer of beers and ales (excellent options), as well as of ciders. Staff ready to share their knowledge about different types of beer and to... More

My husband and i visited here for lunch on Monday after reading reviews online. When you enter the pub you need to go up the stairs for food. It looks like your typical old English pub inside, nothing fancy just good drink and food. Up the stairs is very small with only about 12 tables. When we arrived at 2pm... More

Following a recommendation we decided to visit for lunch. Food and drinks ordered, we were then left waiting for over 30 minutes for our order, no mention of such a wait was given whilst ordering. The food was tasty but not worth the money. The barmaid/waitress cleared my husband's plate before I had finished my meal, bumping into my him... More

We love going to the Raven. It is a wonderful little free house with excellent food and beer selection. Wonderful staff as well. I must say it is our favourite in Bath.
