This was our first try of Nepalese cuisine. The restaurant was quirky but comfortable. Its not uptight or pretentious. It was very busy considering it was a Monday and the vast majority of customers appeared to be international tourists. The menu has some thing for...More

I had never tried Nepalese before, so I was very excited. Yak Yeti Yak certainly didn't disappoint. The food was very tasty and staff were helpful. The prices were very affordable too!

We arrived on the off chance on a Thursday evening . We were sat at the bar while our table was being set. It's a basement location and is small and friendly . There is even an area where you can sit on the floor...More

Went tonight - four of us. Place was crowded. Reservations a must. Looks like a great place to go with a lot of people as the dishes are meant to be shared family style. The portions are small, but the price reflects that. We each...More

Had an amazing meal in June this year. Staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. The location is ideal, was nice and cool as it's under street level so escapes the sun. Atmosphere and decor were on point as well, would definitely suggest...More

Well I wasn't expecting that! Frankly it didn't look much outside, however, inside was cosy although a little worn but the food was quite excellent and very well priced. We've resisted going for three mains and stuck with two and a dhal plus a special...More

Description
If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.
