4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

Nepali restaurant operated by Nepalis with a short but authentic menu of tasty dishes. Service with a smile even on a packed Friday night. For late bookings you may be given the option of a floor level table. Surroundings are pleasingly understated with simple Nepali prayer flag and other adornments. Reasonably priced and, if in Bath, we'll be back.

Had a really tasty and enjoyable meal here, never having tried Nepalese food before. Enjoyed the decoration and ate at a low table on the floor sitting on cushions, which was really fun and made it feel very authentic. We loved the daal and the yak yeti yak chicken in particular. The service was quick and professional. One criticism is... More

Really loved this place, quirky, good food and nice atmosphere. Great birthday meal! Bit on the pricey side for what you get/portion sizes were small, but no complaints with service, good food and we took our after dinner tea into the room with the cushions on the floor and enjoyed the second part of our evening in there - nice... I chose this restaurant because my partner backpacked around Nepal a while ago and I've never tried the food - it was delicious and he assures me very authentic (we even ate with our hands). The service was warm and friendly, the walls were decorated in backpacking memorabilia such as hiking boots and ropes and we sat on cushions on the... Really enjoyed the food which was great value! Everything was freshly cooked and could be customised to your preferred level of spice. Good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

Beautiful food and surroundings. The staff were really friendly and offered advice on choices. We sat on the floor cushions which were really comfy! We all had the mixed meal which came with rice, lentils and beans and a choice of curry - very filling! The pork sag aloo was delicious. Overall a lovely evening.

Made a last minute table booking after a recommendation from a friend, they only had a table on the floor seating. This was comfortable, with plenty cushions. Food and service was excellent. A hidden gem and a must do if you like Nepalese food

Traveled from Plymouth to bring my boyfriend here during our recent visit to Bath. This was the second time I've experienced the amazing food and beautiful atmosphere of Yak Yeti Yak and I wasn't disappointed. The menu's advice on how many dishes to order worked perfectly for us and the food was just as I remembered; fresh, aromatic and memorable.... More

Went to celebrate a friend's birthday. Attentive service, unusual surroundings (it's in the basement of a Georgian House, so access isn't easy), lovely outside courtyard at the rear but above all delicious and exquisite food.

I had never had Nepalese good before, but found there was lots of choice on the menu. The food was delicious and beautifully spiced. They offered me a mild version of my dish without me having to ask - which was appreciated! Pleasant service and nice, interesting decor - highly recommend.

Thank Harriet B

If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.
