The food was excellent, the decor was very beautiful. But their credit card machine did not work. Happily we had the cash but be warned.

My husband and I both ordered the Dhal Bhat Masu, which had a little bit of everything, and it was all very well cooked and tasty. Service was very fast, even on a busy, bank holiday weekend, and very friendly, as well.

I love food with lots of flavours and a bit of a kick - I though the food didn't taste very fresh and quite boring and some of the sauces tasted a bit off...? Also when it came to paying they wouldn't give us a receipt which was a little unnerving.?

Visited on a week night without reservation and had a good choice of seating so chose to sit on the floor (you will see). Seemed popular with the locals. Food was amazing, the veggie mushroom dish was outrageous. Don't get the blacked eyed bean dish tho as tasted like how a stable smelled. Apart from that the food was so... More

We enjoyed a very nice dinner at the Yak Yeti Yak on our first evening in Bath. Food was very good but the service was a bit inattentive and the waitress did not get our order correct.

Lovely food! Sit on the floor cushions for the Nepalese experience. The vodka drink was beautiful! Served on metal plates and bowls. Would recommend

A rather impromptu visit to Bath. Quick search for vegan restaurants did not bring up a great selection. Headed to one of the only soley vegetarian restaurants but as expected it was fully booked. (Also looked a bit too fancy for me.. a weary traveller in search of food) Onwards to Yak Yeti Yak! Great selection of food; including vegan... More

We never had Nepalese food before, so we decided to give yak yeti yak a try. It's set in a basement and is tastefully lit and decorated, with pleasant Nepalese music playing. The atmosphere is great, and the service was friendly and quick. The quality of the food overall was quite good. We had the pork dumplings as a starter,... More

Description
If the name of this restaurant alone isn't enough to make you want to dine here, then we'll eat our Dhaka topi hats. However, in case you need any further incentive – we're delighted to say that this super-cosy establishment is superb. With whitewashed walls and brightly coloured hand-woven cushions, the Nepalese dining room at Yak Yeti Yak in Bath is warm, peaceful, and popular with a fresh-faced crowd who look like they climb mountains just for fun. While - as far as we can tell - there is no actual yeti on the menu, there are plenty of other star attractions such as the Yak Yeti Yak Beef – spicy beef stir-fried with onions, sweet peppers and tomatoes.
