Going to this restaurant reminded us of what real customer experience is all about. The staff were very attentive, a request was not too big for them to handle. The smallest touches were great, I asked for a straw for a drink and the waiter brought it out on a plate for me to take. The food was excellent, filling... More

We visited this restaurant after seeing other reviews that made us want to try. We were not disappointed. On arrival we where warmly greeted and offered a choice of seats. We were given menus and ordered. I had the spicy kofta whilst my wife had the mixed Mezze. Both were excellent choices and we tried both dishes which were superb.... More

My husband and I ate here our second night in Bath. We picked it partly for the convenient location, but also because the menu looked amazing. We were seated quickly. The atmosphere was lovely. The owner was very friendly, gently correcting some of our pronunciations and suggesting dishes. We chose Hommos Maghribi, Kofta Tagine (lamb meatballs in a spicy tomato... More

We had an amazing meal at Tagine Zhor. The food was authentic, delicious and full of flavour (not too spicy either). The owner is extremely friendly and made our visit even better with his humour and conversation. Thank you!

Fantastic service and great food, Mixed mezze and mint tea with baklavas was perfect! I would highly recommend trying it at least once.

If you love Morroccon or North African food - or you're a curious foodie definitely go here! Growing up with a Libyan father gave me the opportunity to taste all this wonderful cuisine. It was so lovely to go to a restaurant and have it made just how I remember. The staff are great, the atmosphere is fantastic and the... More

Great food and service despite the restaurant being busy . The Seafood and Lamb Tagines were superb and served piping hot. Cous Cous and Skewers were the the other meals ordered which were also excellent. Happy to recommend !!

We've had many a mezze, countless couscouses and tons of tagines, but this is right up there with the best. The sea bass tagine was steaming hot and almost as spicy, and the mezze crisp, tasty and clearly freshly prepared. Service also excellent. Highly recommended.

Ate here last night and enjoyed the food. Chicken and beef tagine dishes very tasty. Chocolate melt in the middle dessert good but a bit watery with the fresh orange slice on top, the orange sorbet on top was lovely though. Staff courteous and friendly however we had to ask for the pre-theatre menus despite being there in the right... More

We called in for an early dinner at the end of a sunny day trip to Bath. A characterful little restaurant with helpful, obliging staff. We shared a couple of items from the 'Nibbles' section of the menu to start - grilled halloumi and tquitaat: a small platter of olives, pitta, baba ghannouj and hummus. All delicious. For our main... Tagine Zhor is an authentic Moroccan restaurant run by the Casablancan Moroccan born owner. He takes pride in his Fez cuisine because it is based on traditional recipes that have been passed down from his loving Fez born grandmother "zhor" to him. It is the only finest Moroccan restaurant in Bath and probably in the whole South West of England. The perfect place to experience real Moroccan food cooked and served in a distinctive and traditional manner together with genuine warm hospitality in absolute beautiful Moroccan surroundings. Most meals begin with the simple selection of hot and cold mezze which might include hommos, Olives and Baba Ghannouj served with flat bread. The Tagine may come next served with Cous Cous, rice or Bread. It is a stew made of lamb, Chicken, Fish, Beef, kofta and Basilla. A single plate of dessert will usually consist of baklawas . They are sweet pastries dripping in honey or dusted in icing sugar marks the end of the meal before fresh mint tea or Arabic coffee are served. Do not forget to take a seat on outdoor terrace and enjoy the Shisha pipe and its flavour of tobacco. Also pay a visit to our gem Bazaar Shop downstairs featuring beautiful and unique handmade Moroccan items "great idea for gifts"
