Visited with my boyfriend for a belated Valentines treat.Whilst we were there multiple people were turned away due to the restaurant being so busy. Service was prompt and attentive. We did have multiple people serving us - which we didn't mind. We shared four dishes, two beers, mint tea and Moroccan pastries for the grand total of £44! We loved... More

I went wth my family of 5 and was totally surprised by the terrific welcome, amazing decor, brilliant service and great authentic Moroccan food. When you visit you must make a visit downstairs to the toilets and " bazaar". Really unusual. A definite place to eat when in Bath. Congratulations to the proprietor.

Given the good reviews we were looking forward to our meal but unfortunately we found our main dishes rather bland - perhaps the chef had an off day! The starters and the desserts were very nice though and the service was fine. Liked the decor, especially the lampshades which cast a great pattern on the ceiling.

Amazing decor! Me and my other half were mesmerised by the place. The staff were so polite and friendly. The food is stunning, packed full of flavour. It was also so quick being bought out to us!! Loved it!

This isn't a big restaurant which is in it's favour. Getting a table wasn't an issue. The service was excellent. The meal itself was very hot and stayed hot through eating it. The meal was very nice. We had 2 meals (Tagines) and 2 alcoholic drinks with a starter and this came to £52. I would recommend Tagine Zhor.

We decided to try this little restaurant after good reviews on Trip advisor. The restauraunt was beautifully decorated in authentic Morrocan style. I had never tried a tagine before and wasn't dissapointed. The two course evening menu was under £25 and was thoroughly enjoyed by both me and my husband. A great little find if you fancy something a bit... More

My wife is Algerian and Bath being away from London I booked this restaurant worrying that she would not find the food authentic. I was so wrong. The meal was fantastic. Good quality. Great price. Lots of Arabic conversation. The meat is Halal for those that require it. A wonderful traditional Moroccan restaurant in the middle of England.

What a fantastic place. The food was excellent. My son and I had the mezze starter - a fantastically fresh dish bursting with flavour. My husbands was pumpkin and we all fought over it!. For mains we had the chicken and beef tagine and lamb meatballs all were delicious and trying each others was part of the fun. To finish... More

Tagine Zhor is an authentic Moroccan restaurant run by the Casablancan Moroccan born owner. He takes pride in his Fez cuisine because it is based on traditional recipes that have been passed down from his loving Fez born grandmother "zhor" to him. It is the only finest Moroccan restaurant in Bath and probably in the whole South West of England. The perfect place to experience real Moroccan food cooked and served in a distinctive and traditional manner together with genuine warm hospitality in absolute beautiful Moroccan surroundings. Most meals begin with the simple selection of hot and cold mezze which might include hommos, Olives and Baba Ghannouj served with flat bread. The Tagine may come next served with Cous Cous, rice or Bread. It is a stew made of lamb, Chicken, Fish, Beef, kofta and Basilla. A single plate of dessert will usually consist of baklawas . They are sweet pastries dripping in honey or dusted in icing sugar marks the end of the meal before fresh mint tea or Arabic coffee are served. Do not forget to take a seat on outdoor terrace and enjoy the Shisha pipe and its flavour of tobacco. Also pay a visit to our gem Bazaar Shop downstairs featuring beautiful and unique handmade Moroccan items "great idea for gifts"
