Lovely, cost restaurant with great atmosphere and beautiful food. A great last minute find after the Christmas market!

After a walk round the Christmas market in near freezing temperatures the warmth from the food soon lifted our spirit. The garlic prawns and the houllumi starters set us up for the lamb tagine and the chicken mashmash. The spice infused food is really lovely. The Moroccan interior to the restaurant enhanced the food and atmosphere. Staff all very polite... More

Popular moroccan restaurant near the Roman Baths. Subtly illuminated, and looks the part inside with plenty of ethnic paraphernalia on display. Table space is tight so it can be intense (and an opportunity to meet new people!) at busy times. Waiters certainly don't slack and seem keen to help and explain the wide and appealing menu choice variations in more... More

Very cosy, brilliant food, nice atmosphere. We visited this place with a friend. The starters we ordered were so big we couldn't eat any more. The service (Jacek) was very helpful and kind. Definitely will be back!!

We were looking forward to our meal here but whilst it was not a bad meal it was pretty average. The seafood dish my husband had ,the seafood was a bit tough and not entirely tasty, I would guess it was frozen seafood. The wine was not bad though. The surroundings are nice but I would not go out of my way... Food was absolutely lovely - hot and tasty after a day at the spa and shops! The service was friendly and the whole place is cosy and pretty. The atmosphere is dark and private and I will definitely return again! Loads of healthy vegetarian food as well!

We found this by accident while walking around in Bath on a dark, cold n rainy evening. The place looked good-nice deco! Food was great n plenty. The only problem i had was with the owner n staff. We were the ONLY customers there and when we were ready to order we were told rather rudely to wait as the... More

Absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food very much. We didn't have a reservation, as we had just arrived in England that day but we were early enough that we could be seated (reservations will be made if we ever get to Bath again!). We had the mint tea (beautifully presented), hallumi appetizer (came with a salad) and... More

Tagine Zhor is an authentic Moroccan restaurant run by the Casablancan Moroccan born owner. He takes pride in his Fez cuisine because it is based on traditional recipes that have been passed down from his loving Fez born grandmother "zhor" to him. It is the only finest Moroccan restaurant in Bath and probably in the whole South West of England. The perfect place to experience real Moroccan food cooked and served in a distinctive and traditional manner together with genuine warm hospitality in absolute beautiful Moroccan surroundings. Most meals begin with the simple selection of hot and cold mezze which might include hommos, Olives and Baba Ghannouj served with flat bread. The Tagine may come next served with Cous Cous, rice or Bread. It is a stew made of lamb, Chicken, Fish, Beef, kofta and Basilla. A single plate of dessert will usually consist of baklawas . They are sweet pastries dripping in honey or dusted in icing sugar marks the end of the meal before fresh mint tea or Arabic coffee are served. Do not forget to take a seat on outdoor terrace and enjoy the Shisha pipe and its flavour of tobacco. Also pay a visit to our gem Bazaar Shop downstairs featuring beautiful and unique handmade Moroccan items "great idea for gifts"
