We were staying in the Milsom hotel above Loch Fyne in Bath and decided to have dinner in the restaurant too. Despite not having any salmon available the staff were more than helpful suggesting alternative dishes to try instead. The atmosphere was great and the staff were great. Save space for dessert they've not just great at cooking fish.

In the past Loch Fyne offered great food, good atmosphere and excellent service. Today's experience was not good. The food remained fine for us - although we did see others sending their food back. But the service was truly poor. This is not a cheap restaurant and you expect something more than the half-hearted and frankly amateur approach. Will look... More

Last time we eat here at Easter the service and food was excellent. We had booked a table for four. However when we arrived we were told to wait for a table to be ready. Eventually we were offered drinks. Then four people walked in with no reservation yet were seated well before us. Then we ordered drinks and the... More

Lovely fish cooked to perfection, twice cooked chips were out of this world, shell fish fresh and wholesome. Good wine menu, reasonable prices.

Me and my partner decided to try here after walking around Bath sightseeing for hours. Walked in to a very pleasant looking restaurant and were seated in what I would have called a difficult place in the middle of the room, there were tables all around the room that were free but we were seated in the middle. A few... More

I thought it would be just like any other restaurant chain where everything is standard but I was pleasantly surprised. Oysters, Avocado Super-salad and delicious desserts. Mainly a fish restaurant. A good menu overall. Great wine. Bar man very knowledgeable.Very good service from the waiting staff. Four of us all had different selections from the menu and all was excellent.

We have visited several times and have no been disappointed. Slightly over prices for the portion sizes but the fish is fresh and full of flavour and the staff are always welcoming!

Food great but the Champagne we ordered was awful, should have complained but chose not to as I was with a client. In hind sight I should have. My advice steer clear of the Bolenger I've tasted better vinager.

In a nutshell our visit was very enjoyable. Delicious food in fine surroundings. But what topped if off for us was the excellent service from our waiter. He was a great character with superb skills. Unfortunately we didn't catch his name. A foreign chap, maybe Italian.

Thank Kirkcarrion
