Tilleys is a quaint little restaurant near the Abbey which served us up a cracking bottle of wine and some really good food. The coq au vin was particularly lovely! Only points - the starter choice was a bit limited and I struggled to choose one to my tastes. The steak tartare didn't have a huge amount of flavour, quite... More

Oh how special. Sea bass with calamari risotto. A bottle of Sancerre. And an extraordinary cheesecake unlike any -- and this coming from a die hard NY cheesecake snob! A must do. We visited Bath after a 12 day cruise. Tilleys was the best dinner of our trip!

Went in to Tilleys Bistro on the of chance. In a nutshell, the staff are wonderful , attentive but not intrusive and polite. The restaurant it self has the perfect ambience. 20 to 30 covers that i counted. To say the food is well presented would be an understatement and not do the Chef any justice. Most importantly the food... More

We booked an evening meal last night for our Anniversary. At the time of booking we checked to make sure the al a carte menu would be available on a Sunday and were told it was, and booked on this basis. When we arrived we were only given the choice of the day's special or roasts and although the menu... More

My wife and I had a two night break in Bath on the way back from Sidmouth folk week. We had dined out every night with a wide range of cuisine , so on arrival in Bath we decided to go French . Tilley's was our first choice and definitely the best!!! Fantastic food, some of the best I have... More

We had lunch here in a rather impromptu way and were very well treated, with some lovely food. It was quiet, partly because everyone was making a beeline for a well known establishment nearby. However, our experience here was excellent and we felt we had a far better meal than if we had gone for somewhere else. Our only criticism... More

We dined her on Wednesday. Just down from our hotel. What a classic classy establishment. What table cloths and starched napkins. We were so stuffed with food over the last few days so we only had a main course and wine. We were not disappointed. The Chicken Coc au vin was excellent. The dauphinoise potatoes were to die for. The... More

My family and I chose this restaurant because of its great location, menu and its authentic Bath look. We had a very warm welcome and had a lovely table in one of the bay windows at the front of the building. The service was great, very friendly. We chose a good and reasonably priced Rioja to drink and had quite... More
