Had dinner here early on a Thursday evening after a long day travelling. Everything about the experience was brilliant. Good atmosphere in an interesting room with lovely murals. Catered very well for vegetarians and I had a superb vegan meal. Bottled water is expensive(£5) but in a lovely bottle which we took home(and the waiter gave us another as my... More

On a recent weekend in Bath my girlfriend and I were looking for a nice Curry House to visit. After a quick search online we found The Eastern Eye. The main entrance and staircase to the premises gives no clue to the beautiful decor of the restaurant above. There was an extensive menu to choose from, with classic options as... More

visited following online suggestion. My lamb nowdabar (apologies if spelt incorrectly) was gorgeous. Service was fast and mainly ok, young man who brought out our food could barely hide his boredom but older gentleman with glasses (who does the magic trick with the towels) was spot on. I really enjoyed our food.

On a weekend away in Bath, my partner and I, after reading other reviews, decided to try this restaurant. We were not disappointed. The service was absolutely superb. As I was undecided on my meal choice, the manager, after asking me what I liked, picked my meal for me and it was absolutely delicious. Not only that, after hearing it... More

Travelling solo I had 2 nights in Bath, and had a hankering for Indian food. This restaurant had excellent reviews so I walked past 2 other Indian restaurants to go there. Being on my own I was seated in the corner. Service was disinterested...keen to take the order and move on. Ordered the Vegetarian thali...the starter arrived in the blink... More

This place has a good reputation in Bath we were told, but when we ate here the service was abrupt and our order was over an hour arriving. When it did get to us it was underwhelming - not bad but nothing special. The waiter over-sold the rice, ignoring a suggestion we didn't each need a portion, so we ended... More

We eat here about once a year and the food is always excellent. We had 8 different main dishes and all very perfectly cooked and very tasty. A must stop place for a meal, right up there with the best I have had.

Easy to miss as the door on street level hides a flight or two of stairs that need ascending before you find yourself on the first floor looking at some rather innocuous doors that hide a really rather impressive room (which you cannot do justice to without simply seeing it) full of friendly staff and lovely food. Our two young... More

An easy to miss door on Quiet Street hides an impressive, huge first floor Indian restaurant. Friendly staff, generous portions, very tasty food. Waiter was knowledgable and recommended suitable accompaniments to our curries. Will be visiting again soon!
