We stopped in the restaurant in the afternoon, but we were still able to order meals from the daily menu. Nice interior and friendly service.

We had a lovely meal. Good value for money food given we were in the city center! House wine of a reasonable standard. Good intimate setting for a quiet meal.

Visited this Pub on a quiet Friday lunchtime in January. Only wanted a snack so we had the Fish Pie and a jacket potato with blue cheese and bacon. Both were excellent and helped by a lovely pint of Doom Bar. Very friendly bar staff....More

I went in to grab a burger and a drink. The staff were welcoming and the food went down well. It is a nice spot if you're looking for a quiet place to sit and relax.

Day shopping and evening in bath...decided to stay here as is close to centre of town...the room was clean, tidy and lovely and quiet..very reasonable price and a great breakfast

You are able to walk from the station along the side of the river & over Pultney Bridge then first left & The Rising Sun is on the right .. it will take you about 15minutes .,
