Hello Gingerben89, Thank you for the review. We believe our prices are accurately priced and reflect the level of service and standards we set ourselves here. We are sorry you feel differently. Warm Regards, Jon Ward

We had lunch there today, 5 of us plus 2 dogs. Very accommodating to the dogs, faultless service and excellent food. I was indecisive about my gin choice, and had a couple recommended to me, so I tried both. We chose this place as it...was dog friendly and was midway between us in Barnstaple and my sister in Bracknell. We will certainly be back again. Thanks very muchMore

6 of us ate Sunday roast here, our table wasn’t ready on arrival so we sat and waited downstairs with some drinks. Starters were lovely and we didn’t have to wait long, but then there was a 50 minute wait before receiving our mains. The...meat was dry, Yorkshire pudding was burnt, and the cauliflower cheese didn’t have much flavour.. was disappointing after the lovely starter we had. Staff were not overly attentive and would often just be stood at the bar. Had to wait a long time to pay.More

Spent the weekend in Bath after dropping off our youngest at Uni. Nipped in for a quick pint after a trip on an open top bus. Excellent social distancing with hand gel, track and trace and table service. Staff were really busy but there was...no wait for our drinks. After a few pints we wandered about for a couple of hours then returned for dinner. Both had the plant based burgers which were lush and the chips were amazing! Only gave 4 stars because toilets were upstairs and the accessible unisex on the ground floor was a bit stinky. To be fair though I think that might have been the result of some wobbly blokes on 'lads' weekend!More

We visited this pub twice for drinks during our stay in Bath. We ordered HSB which was delicious. Perfectly cool and sublime. But a special mention has to go to the staff who where outstandingly friendly. They chatted easily with guests and there was no...horrible COVID feel even though protocols were being observed. One visit there was a homeless guy with obvious mental health issues sat outside with a pint of water, taking up one of the busy outdoor tables. The staff didn't seem phased by this at all but kindly kept his water topped up during his visit. On the same visit a lady on the table next to us expressed her love of the glass she was drinking from and the staff member bought her out a clean one to take away (probs shouldn't have dobbed him in with that story but we were blown away by how lovely the staff were).More

Popped in this Sunday for a space to work for a couple of hours. The staff were super helpful with getting me a table near a plug socket and with logging onto the wifi. The salmon special and caesar salad was tasty and the service...from Harriet and Daisy was friendly and the perfect pace. Will definitely recommend The Huntsman to others.More

Nice surroundings, excellent location. Dropped in here for a couple of drinks whilst enjoying Bath. Good choice of beers & lagers. Didn't eat here though so cant comment on the food.

Had just arrived in Bath,we both were ready for lunch after our journey we had previously had eaten at the Huntsman on our last visit,so it was a no brainer to call again. The food was just as good as last time and the staff...were as usual excellent especially in these weird times. Highly recommendedMore

Really great pub experience from start to finish. Super warm & professional welcome from the team upon arrival. This was followed my great service all round. Shout out to the Scotsman serving us who was insanely hospitable and a real gentleman. He also poured me...a 10/10 Guinness and gave some great Whisky recommendations. Would definitely go again when next in bathMore
