Just a glass of wine outside with some friends. It was lovely. They were skeptical as it is almost right on a roundabout/road but the noise is minimal and you forget the road is there. The quality of everything was superb. Chips were a bargain for the quality they were. We were all extremely impressed. 4 stars not 5 because... More

Stopped here for dinner and I had Spinach and mushroom cannelloni, was nothing but absolutely superb! Partner had burger but wasn't as impressed as me.

Lunch at the Allium restaurant last Sunday: Started with drinks on the pleasant terrace outside people watching. Restaurant was decorated in a bright querky pseudo regency style, but overall good atmosphere. food was well presented and tasty, reasonably priced but unremarkable. Service was very friendly but slow: didn't seem to have a manager organising things. All in all satisfactory and... More

I enjoyed an excellent dinner here when staying in Bath. My starter was a highly successful combination of beetroot, orange and grapefruit. Very vibrant in look and taste. This was followed by an lovely pork chop, nicely cooked - too often pork is overcooked in the UK in my view. I did not sample the wine list as I was... More

I stopped for afternoon drinks and snacks at Allium last weekend. A nicely furnished terrace was a good place to experience Bath on a Saturday afternoon. The "drink and snack" deal for around ten pounds seemed worth it, as it filled a gap (spicy beef salad was very good). Worth mentioning is our waitress, Steph, who "went the extra mile"... More

Dinner for 7 here on 9th Sept and all was absolutely delicious! Lovely setting, fantastic service & amazing food. Our starters included Camembert platter and wings and mains of Duck, battered haddock & salads - all superb! It was a special birthday for my friend and they presented her with a lovely chocolate surprise with candle. Thank you so much... More

The hotel in Bath where we were staying, recommended this restaurant for a night out! We checked it out, we thought it looked really nice and we tried it! Absolutely delicious!! It's a very clean, modern a bit retro' type of restaurant in the heart of Bath - and we really enjoyed our evening here. We had few cocktails before,... More

After having a good lunch here a few months ago we returned with some friends for dinner last night. Unfortunately, it did not live up to our expectations this time. Starter menu is quite salad heavy but they were all very good indeed. However, the mains were disappointing: Duck was overcooked and quite tough. Steak was given back as it... More

We decided to eat at Allium has it seemed more fine dining for our 1st Anniversary. Food and service was lovely and we were given a happy anniversary dessert which made things very special. My only comment would be to smarten the bar outside the hotel, to reflect the interior inside. The flags etc i feel brings the classyness of... More

Having already eaten at the restaurant last year my wife and I decided to stop off for drinks before moving on to an Italian we had already booked,The seating outside the main Restaurant is both centrally located and comfortable with a pleasant view, the drinks are comparable with other cocktail bars although expensive. What takes the biscuit though is the... More
