We had some great Thai food. I am not normally a fan of Thai food but this was very really good and left me wanting more. Fully recommend a visit

Popped in here on the way back to our friends flat. Simple pub. Nice barman who recommended a local beer. Nice point and some good meat snacks available. Well worth a visit if passing.

Have been here twice for the excellent thai food. It is a good pub as well. Better food than the other thai places in Bath and cheaper. A pint of Budvar on draft went down well with the food.

Limited choice of beers and real ales, average food; setting is a typical English simple pub. If you come here for the sport and there's a good atmosphere then great. But there are far nicer places to water yourself in Bath.

Great pub, frequented by friendly locals and visitors. Large selection of real ale and unusual ciders. Two attentive barmaids whose customer service was spot on, even letting us sample the ales and cider. Plenty of tvs should you wish to watch the sport. Lovely thai food available served up by a friendly guy. Recommended.

Friendly reception, good ale and nice atmosphere. The sport was on the big screen when we visited but it didn't dominate the whole bar. It seemed to have quite a good local following as well as visitors like us just dropping in, and all were made welcome. Nice to find a friendly pub so centrally. The bar menu had Thai... More

I've visited The Assembly Inn several times in the past two years during visits to a friend in Rivers Street, just above Alfred Street, Bath BA1. Always a nice welcome and pleasant service. I've never eaten here, but the beer is good.

Well worth a visit for a drink, friendly staff and nice beer. Pub also has a pool room, football screens, so caters for those wanting that. Limited comfy seats by the window so great when quiet during the day and only one bench table outside, so limited on a nice day. A small court yard at the back was advertised... More

I fell in love with the pies they serve, Bath's award winning Lovett pie. There is quite a lot of variety too: chicken, gammon and leek pie or spiced butternut squash pie (vegetarian). I heard that there is also a selection of burgers coming up: bagel with steak and cheddar cheese burger, chili beef burger with jalapenos peppers and cream... More
