This was a great place for 20 of us to enjoy afternoon tea! We had a mixture of the Tea with Mr Darcy and "Ladies Afternoon Tea". The service and friendliness of the staff really makes this place stand out! Not pretentious nor overly fussy...More

I couldn't give this review 5 stars due to the troublesome start. It was my husbands and mine 10th anniversary. We had received a voucher for Christmas for an afternoon tea so decided to use this for our anniversary. Of the places that accepted the...More

Make a booking here if you are celebrating something special. We upgraded to the Darcy Tea plus bottle of Prosecco and were mightily surprised when we were presented with so much food we could not finish it, even failing to manage an evening meal (our...More

Visited 2016-08-20 at about 1400. Room is atop the Jane Austen Center. Enjoyed two cream teas (each includes tea plus 2 scones, clotted cream, and preserves) plus two additional teas. This was ideal for our party of four. The scones and teas were excellent. Staff...More

The staff were extremely helpful and honest, providing us with suggestions for local sites. The teas and scones were absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Scones were fresh, and clotted cream was soft and light. Overall, a refreshing experience from today's unusually hot weather.

The museum is a quaint and harmless way to experience some olden-timesy fun. Unfortunately the cakes we were served also turned out to be olden-timesy in their own special way... We ordered afternoon tea and sat in anticipation as the delightful staff—all in period costume—scurried...More

Dear Benjamin and prospective Customers, may we take a moment to explain this particularly situation. We use fresh cakes, supplied by a lovely local lady. Our cakes are unique in that they are home made and contain no preservatives. The fresh cakes in this exceptionally...More
