I called in for a quick drink in the Salamander and thought the atmosphere was great and the range of beers and ales impressive. Bath has many excellent pubs and this is right up there with the best

A great bar with A good selection of Bath Ales. There a ways seems to be a good crowd in this bar and I always ensure that I call in here whenever I am in town. Keep up the good work!

Great staff, beer, wine and atmosphere. Knowledgeable staff on real ales. Definitely worth a visit, loved it. The bar lady gave my husband beers to try even after he'd chosen and talked him through the keeping of them, very interesting.

The Salamander was a wonderful dinner spot. This is a small restaurant but worth a booking or a wait while you sip a pint. Friendly service and delicious food. My only regret is that I was too full for dessert.

A good find pub, with a rally cosy atmosphere and very good selection of beers. Bath has a number of lovely places to eat and drink and this is definitely one of them. I will certainly go back for moore when I am next in Bath.

Hi the table we had was upstairs. I'm unsure if there was a lift. It is spread across a few levels. I hope you enjoy your visit.

Description
The Salamander is great city-centre pub.
'The Sally' serves good food and a fine choice of beers from Bath Ales and beyond, and welcomes a friendly, eclectic audience. It's small, it's snug but it's oh so special! The Salamander is tucked neatly away just off Queen Square in the heart of the Georgian city of Bath.
Historically a 'steak and chop house', it now consists of a well-stocked bar on the ground floor and an impressive dining room complete with galley kitchen upstairs. Using the finest produce from local suppliers, 'The Sally' is renowned for its imaginative and varied menu, available both downstairs in the bar and upstairs.
