We only required a light lunch while on a visit to Shrewsbury on a damp and dismal August day and landed by chance at The Peach Tree following a visit to the Abbey, but what a find. The staff and ambience were exceptional and we were given a grand tour of the restaurant and its neighbouring establishments. The food selection... More

The Peach Tree Hotel is an almost hidden gem on the approach to Shrewsbury bridge near Shrewsbury Abbey.Inside was a veritable Tardis with tasteful contemporary / old beamed décor. Our waiter Johny was so efficient and helpful with his advice. Our food was amazing, their chef certainly knows how to cook! so refreshing these days. Our lunchtime meal was excellent!... More

We liked the decor and the staff. It's a good fusion between old and contemporary styles. The food felt a bit pricey for what we had and I wouldn't go again specifically for the food as it was ok but not delicious as I would expect from that calibre of restaurant. I had a home made pate which was not... More

Visited here a few times and have yet to be disappointed. Visited both times in the evening with one time a man playing a piano in the background which was lovely. Slightly pricey but personally I think it is worth it as someone who prefers quality over quantity. You definitely get what you pay for

Wonderful food. Attentive service, without being overpowering, When we want a restaurant with good food, where we can all chat without being disturbed, this is where we choose to come.

Went with a friend for a snack lunch. Was delighted to find there was a very reasonably priced menu of the day and also light bites. The food was excellent and we would go there again.

Lively place, they try hard to make the food exciting but the fusion style may not be to everyone's taste. The venison is delicious, and the deserts are really good, be careful to leave room for them. Makes a good evening out but service seems a bit quirky.

We recently had Sunday lunch with some friends , our second visit , their first . The food was very good quality , couldn't fault it at all . We had choice of a desert from the menu or having one of the lovely cakes on offer . The staff were both very friendly & professional . A lovely atmosphere... More

First visit of many!!! Great atmosphere in this well laid out restaurant. Bar area and several small dining seas including large circular tables ; outside seating and huge sliding doors. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful; some unusual as well as traditional meals; all served artistically and with a touch of class. Food is delicious. Try the crack pie for dessert!!!... More

We are situated directly next door to Havana Republic bar and restaurant, and also Momo No Ki Ramen Noodle Bar. We also offer a wide selection of cakes and pastries throughout the day accompanied by a great range of coffees, teas and hot chocolate too.
