I've been to several Loch Fyne locations, but this one is the best. Service is always A+, the place is very clean (both the restaurant and the bathrooms), and the fish is always very fresh. I've never had a dud meal here. There's also a good loyalty card and frequently there are vouchers online to use too. Very good value.

Having visited other branches of this chain, I was expecting the food to be nice enough but nothing special. What a nice surprise! My chicory tart with blue cheese was nothing short of sublime. Absolutely delicious. Unorthodox, but the cheddar and haggis spring rolls were actually really nice. I'm happy I took a risk trying them. Will absolutely be coming... More

We visited here for lunch on a visit to Shrewsbury. This was not one of best meals we've ever had at our many visits to various Loch Fyne's. The set menu, to be fair to this branch, is not one of their best. I chose the sprats and my other half chose the herrings. He really enjoyed his but I... More

My boyfriend and I booked a very rare night out to this restaurant that we have been wanting to visit for a while. We had booked on the internet but they couldn't find it when we got there but we were offered a table for 2. It was busy but service was good, very attentive. Oysters to start followed by... More

We were really looking forward to eating at a Loch Fyne as it was our first visit to one, but what a disappointment. My wife had a simple dish, steamed salmon, tenderstem broccoli, and new potatoes - the salmon was rubbery, the broccoli was cold, and the new potatoes varied from not cooked to overcooked! I had one of the... More

It was our first visit to this restaurant and had travelled 30 miles to try it. We weren't disappointed. The oysters were lovely and fresh, the best that we have tasted so far and the various toppings we're beautiful. For mains we had a seafood mixed grill and the tagliatelle, both of which were very tasty and plenty of. We had very... More

We were there on a quiet night and received attentive service and excellent food. we had a bottle of wine that was excellent and very reasonable for restaurant wine. The fresh was fresh and perfectly cooked. The twice-cooked chips were tender inside and crunchy outside as they should be and I had to try the mushy pea fritters because as... More
