We called in at last minute without planning and thought it was your normal eating pub. The service is second to none and food is home cooked, generous and extremely tasty. We had nachos to share and pie of the day with dauphinois - very delicious!!! If we had to say anything adverse it would be that they t Ray... More

Today my partner and I visited this delightful restaurant! Very happy staff and sat straight down. I made the waitress, Gemma, aware that I had coeliac disease and she was fantastic! She had a good knowledge of gluten free food and if she was unsure ingredients she found out for me! The food portions were huge!... But very tasty...! Lovely... More

Myself and my partner booked a table for an evening meal out. As soon as we arrived the staff were great, friendly and helpful. The service was excellent and the food was simply delicious! We ordered the baked camembert to start and it was amazing and both had rump steak for main, both of which were cooked to perfection...we were... More

Myself & four adults went to this pub on a Saturday lunchtime. We sat in the far garden where they only serve light snacks which was all we wanted. 4 ordered baguettes & 1 ordered fish & chips, it took 40 minutes for the food to arrive. The baguettes were freshly baked which take about 8 minutes & the fish... More

Have been here several times in the past and always enjoyed it but to be honest I was completely underwhelmed this time. The steak was ok but could have been seasoned better, the dauphinois could have done with being cooked a little longer and the sauce for the steaks is tiny for the price they charge. Overall I wasn't majorly... More

Hello, Thanks for taking the time to review us, I remember serving you actually, so let me start with an apology for forgetting your partners red wine, it wasn't until I had read your comment that I remembered about it, so if he decides to come back at some point I will buy a glass for him! We occasionally put... More
