Visited this pub about 12 months ago and had a great meal so decided to visit again on our latest visit and we were not disappointed. The menu was varied with something for everyone and the Salopian Hop twister was superb. This little gem is tucked a little out of the way up a hill but its worth taking the... More

Looking for a good hearty pub for an evening meal, my partner and I remembered this little pub that we had visited a few months earlier and thoroughly enjoyed. We decided to book for the Saturday evening - and we're pleased we did! Whilst quite busy and chaotic, the pub has a great atmosphere. It's rustic and homely with menu... More

Yet again the steak and ale pie was excellent. They also had a new Three Tuns ale on called Rantipole, a cracking ale that isn't too strong and very moorish! Have been back several times to help empty the barrel. Great cosy local pub

Called in on the off chance today for Sunday lunch and it was well worth it. Fresh veg and a choice of 3 meats, you can have all 3 meats if you want to! The veg was cooked to perfection and then a nice gravy boat with home made gravy with meat bits....absolutely delicious. Well done to the owners and... More

Made first visit here after walking dogs (which are welcome). Found a real pub with a welcoming interior of mainly old pine. Two excellent real ales made a good start and after perusing the extensive blackboard menu chose a pie of the day for my wife and turkey Catalan for me, and were accompanied by excellent vegs. All the food... More
