Went with my husband, we were really dissapointed. Ordered drinks and were told to seat ourselves, no menus provided i had to go and find one. Ordered food after a long wait it came, we'd ordered 'giant' Yorkshire puddings (which were in fact 3 small ones) I had mine with veg and meat from the carvery, the meat was cold... More

Firstly I would like to apologise that you did not enjoy your meal at our establishment. We aim to serve food within 25 minutes of the items being ordered, any longer than this we do inform people that there is a wait. I will speak to the staff and check our order records to see how long you were waiting... More

Thank you for your review. I apologise that you did not enjoy your meal. We had been really busy yesterday day and as the items are all homemade some things do sell out quicker than others. As we are getting busier I will make sure we increase our starting numbers. We make the burgers using quality mince and add onions,... More

We've been a few times to this pub now but our most recent visit was disappointing to say the least. It was very quite considering it was a weekend evening and yet 3 or 4 of the items we wanted were not available, with no explanation given as to whether the items had been sold out or not even been... Having been to the Mustard Pot in the past (approx. 2 years ago), we decided to make an evening of it with friends. Embarrassingly it was our suggestion. What a night! It started off with a dark corner of the pub where our reserved table was located, though helpfully, when asked, they did insert a working light bulb to illuminate... More

We visited as a party of 6. The pub was freezing and everyone ate in their coats. Two people left without ordering. The pies and lasagne weren't available, despite Tuesday being advertised as pie night!! Two ordered jacket potatoes with cheese and were offered blue or goat's cheese - neither of which were experienced before. The service was slow and... More

Called today with my wife, we have been before for a drink in the summer as the Tour de France passed and thought if was ok. When we called in today it was like walking into a derelict building. It was freezing cold, dark and no atmosphere whatsoever, the waitress was bordering on rude. The pub was so cold we... More

Ye old mustard pot is a traditional English country pub, located on the outskirts of the peak district. Open fires and comfy seating make you feel right at home. Large car park ensure no parking issues. They serve meals throughout the week and also offer a traditional roast on Sundays. The do deals throughout the week to help you drive... More

We both had a wonderful meal. Food was so nice. My partner even tried and liked asparagus (he has a veg phobia) with his starter. Staff were great, very attentive and friendly. The pub has a lovely olde wolrde feel to it and was a really nic place to eat some very nice food. Would recommend a visit.

Really disappointing visit to this pub/restaurant on Mother's Day. The carvery was overcooked - the beef was tough and the Yorkshire puddings rock hard - and the service was awful. Obviously they were busy due to it being Mother's Day, but this is no excuse for overcooked food and bad service. After a long period of generally slow service, culminating... More
