Such a beautiful pub with a lovely ambiance, nice waiting staff and superb food. All the things we ordered were sublime; particularly the goats cheese 4 ways. Delish! Would highly recommend and am very much looking forward to returning.

Since the Bladebone's re-opening I have eaten here many times The food - outstanding, fresh seasonal menu that never disappoints The decor - stylish, warm and rustic so cosy you just don't want to leave. The service - always warm and friendly. Nothing is ever to much trouble The landlord - Legend! On a sunny day check out the garden it's... More

Came here for a family birthday today and the food was absolutely stunning quality. The scallops were cooked perfectly and the cheese sauce balanced it very well, the pork Sunday roast was beautiful - perfectly cooked meat that was tender and a wonderful selection of veg accompaniments. Would definitely recommend to anyone to go on a Sunday for lunch.

Great quality food but at higher price. Is it worth it ? For the food itself you can definitely taste the difference. While £8/9 for a sandwich may at first seem expensive rest assured that the sandwich is delicious and filling with a properly dressed and fresh side salad and rustic chips that have full flavour. You will feel totally... More

The Bladebone had been recommended to me via a foodie friend on twitter, in fact had it not been for this I would probably have never found, or experienced the amazing food on offer. 3 amazing courses, Venison with Haggis, Turbot with Scallop and a sumptuous 'Very Merry Berry' dessert was my choice, the missis went for Egg 'n' Soldiers,... This pub is absolutely fantastic!!! The staff are incredibly friendly, the decor is really well done and a little quirky, and the food is really tasty but quite pricey for pub food....that being said you get what you pay for. It also has a really lovely garden area with ample seating and games for children. My little girl loved running... More

Verging on quirky décor there is an air of interest about the furniture as you enter the Blade Bone Inn. A welcome notice to dogs is reassuring and gives a local atmosphere as well as a reason to talk to one another. The waitresses were helpful and friendly and the food was served promptly. We had little light and fluffy... More

I had dinner here a few days after it opened. The food was great but the service was lacklustre, probably because the staff were still finding their feet. I feedback my experience to the owner on the night and thought I would give it another go recently. It’s clear that a fair bit has been spent on the appearance of... More

had an excellent meal with something for everyone in the group, aged from 6 to 76. Consistently delicious food, friendly and efficient service, clean smart surroundings and fun wine list with some serious bottles. We will be regular visitors

Have dined here a couple of lunchtimes so though we would try it for dinner with family. What we experienced was very disappointing. Service and food was not good enough to justify the high prices or a visit compared to great local competition. Our starters turned up almost instantly ahead of our pre dinner drinks being finished but wine didn't... More
