We were served a delicious veggie meal with attentive and courteous service for an impromptu lunch date. Highly recommended!

Been three times once at lunchtime twice in the evening. Had a lovely time every time, preferred it in the day time as a more relaxed atmosphere. Smart in the evening and quite formal.

We had their early supper deal, really good value and delicious. Staff very pleasant. Always good to be honest. Not sure I like to see the staff smoking on the back side of the restaurant though. You should cover that area to passers by.

What can I say that hasn't been said? Having coming here for years the LSB never fails, excellent service, lovely location and delicious food; on this occasion with the lunchtime special menu exceptional value for money too. I will be back!

Looking out onto the river I couldn't think of a better way to enjoy my Saturday evening. The menu was fantastic and it was difficult deciding what to go with as it all looked so good. I eventually opted for the beer battered oysters to start and the rabbit loin as a main. Neither courses I'd had before but I... More

This is the second time I have been LSB and I consider the food over priced. My latest visit was disappointing, the food wasn't hot enough and the wine wasn't cold enough, and at £9 a glass I expected better. However, the menu is extensive and staff and service are excellent.

For our starters, we had the Thai fish cake and asparagus. Both were excellent. Our mains were all impeccably prepared as well and a delight for our senses. We had the sea bream, the grilled chicken and the honey roast pork. The baked Alaska we had to conclude our meal was not bad either.

We went here as part of a family gathering, and despite it being one of Reading University's graduation days, the service was excellent throughout, even though the restaurant was understandably packed. The a la carte menu is huge, and may make choices a little difficult, but the quality of the food was very good, and each dish arrived nicely presented, and with decent portions. In particular, the pork... More

One of a very few fine cuisine restaurants in central Reading. Plated service. You get what you pay for and it is worth paying. The day menu is extremely good value.

The London Street Brasserie is the second award winning restaurant by owner & proprietor Paul Clerehugh. Opened in 2000, next to the river Kennet in the heart of Reading, the London Street Brasserie has won both critical acclaim & Michelin recognition & has also been voted restaurant of the year. Lovingly called the LSB by regulars & locals, the restaurant has become a firm favourite in the area & a must visit for foodies. Serving local produce to the highest standards this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
