Great lunch and great value for fine food. Each dish on the lunch menu chosen was delicious-mackerel pate; butternut squash and chickpea tagine; blackberry bakewell............

My wife and I visited at lunchtime during a break from the Christmas shopping and had a very pleasant time at LSB. The service was excellent throughout and the wine and food good value (we had the lunchtime menu @£16.95 a head). The wine menu was extensive and contained some gems. I started with fried duck egg on toasted brioche... More

9 of us descended on the Brasserie last night and had a cracking Christmas meal. We had pre-ordered which makes sense for a larger party. The food arrived shortly after we did, allowing us time to sort out a couple of bottles of wine: a lovely white Rioja and a very moorish Malbec! Can't fault the food, it was fab.... More

Twelve of recently attended here for a post Christmas Lunch. We ordered several different dishes between us, starts, mains and deserts, everything arrived as it should without any undue waiting for any dishes, the food was all lovely and hot and looked great on the plates, my three dishes were excellent as was the wine served with them, overall I... We had some vouchers to use that had been bought as a gift so four of us had a meal on a Friday night here. The staff were so attentive and the service was impeccable. Not to mention the quality of the food. We were all very impressed and I would certainly return.

Pheasant was grossly overcooked and like rubber. Cumin spiced cabbage was flavourless. The pumpkin ring was also flavourless and undercooked. Overall a sad plate of misery for a ridiculous price of £23. Would not visit again.

We love this restaurant and visit regularly. However the price for their steaks has increased by around 25% in the last week. Justification was Brexit !!? More like opportunistic. Shame as now over priced.

As usual up to its expected standard excellent friendly, attentive service, top quality food. Good value for money. Well worth a visit if you are unfortunate enough not to have yet visited.

They looked at me like I was trash for having my baby with me! Was nearly turned away - and sure I would have been if I wasn't part of a big group. Discussing for a very early dinner on a week night - not 10pm on a Friday!

The London Street Brasserie is the second award winning restaurant by owner & proprietor Paul Clerehugh. Opened in 2000, next to the river Kennet in the heart of Reading, the London Street Brasserie has won both critical acclaim & Michelin recognition & has also been voted restaurant of the year. Lovingly called the LSB by regulars & locals, the restaurant has become a firm favourite in the area & a must visit for foodies. Serving local produce to the highest standards this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.
