Me and my partner dined here a week ago and very much enjoyed it. Vast menu with very nice and fresh specials on offer. Nicely priced too for the centre of Reading. The sucking pig was the tastiest I've ever had, also the sea bass ravioli was extremely tasty. Very pleasant staff and well served throughout the evening. Thank you... More

This feels like a family restaurant, the staff were friendly and attentive with out being intrusive. The food was excellent and arrived in a timely fashion, but without feeling rushed. A very pleasant and relaxing evening.

Superb meal as always. Had the special fish dish for main and it tasted great. Fab service, highly recommend. Traditional Italian, one of the best for miles around!

This has become our standard restaurant for my wife's birthday. Lovely, friendly service from all the staff (most of whom now recognise us) and great food. It's hidden away on an ugly bit deserted pedestrian precinct but very close to the Hexagon and much of Readings shopping, but once you come in you're in another world. The restaurant is actually... We've been there on and off over many years. It's always consistently good and a good example of a family-run restuarant. It's located towards the edge of the pedestrian area, but still close to the shops. (The location is a bit off-beat, but that's Reading for you.) Service is good, the food very good but try to avoid the a... More

Well if you are somebody who look to the prices to decide if the food is good, this is the place for you. I went there with some collegues, the location is good and the impression of the restaurant is a fine one. The staff is friendly. All is of high category, apart the food. I had a "antipasto della... I stopped in for dinner. My now-deceased Dad and I had dinner there twice on previous trips to Reading. Once was a couple of years ago, and the other time was a year before that. My Dad enjoyed both times, and so did I. The owner works the place, and he aims to please. In fact, my Dad and I... More

Great food and lovely personal service from the owner. Went for the Sardinian dishes to try something different and they were both top class.

Went there for dinner as it was right next to the hotel. The host was responsive but the tables in the corner and was a bit difficult to access. While reading the menu i was offered the specialty of the day - veal with mushrooms with mixed salad. It wasn't too bad but the meat was a bit overcooked and... More

I cannot remember when I have last had better service or better food or more delicious wine at such a reasonable price. There were 5 of us and we each had three different courses. All the food was perfect. I will not talk about about one specific dish as our choices were so varied - fish, steak, pasta, vegetarian. I... More
