This place used to be a fish restaurant. Didn't like it, but a sunny Sunday afternoon and the prospect of a bite to eat al fresco captured Felicity's imagination as we drove past. What Felicity wants, Felicity gets. We decided to sit outside with the dog and eat. The man behind the bar said: "We don't serve food outside, but... More

We were celebrating my Father's 85th birthday and my mother is in a wheelchair. I phoned to ask for a table downstairs and explained the situation, we were a party of 16. The manager had put us next to the patio doors so that we could get the wheelchair straight in and the service from that point onwards was exceptional,... More

This is a very popular place, the food here is cooked to perfection, restaurant food at pub prices, be sure to book as many a time we have seen people turned away due to its popularity, very friendly professional staff, I have never been disappointed, the roast potatoes are the best 😋

Came here on Friday night with my partner and his family for a surprise birthday meal for him. The place has been done beautifully! Very warm and inviting. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. I had the ribs to start and the lamb shank as a main. Both were beautiful! The lamb shank literally fell off the bone... More

Visited for Sunday lunch and overall it was very good. Food was tasty (pork, beef and sea bass in our group). Roast potatoes need some work - crispy, to the point of almost being impenetrable, and not very soft inside. Staff need educating - one of our group asked for some Bearnaise sauce to go with their beef, and the... More

It is a few years since I (we) visited the Spring Inn and at least we were not disappointed with the welcome, service or food. The one glitch, was on two of the dishes we ordered, the vegetables did not match the menu (baby new potatoes became potato & leek mash) and with the raspberry & almond tart it showed... More

I visit here roughly once a month for mostly the food and usually sit in 'bar area' lovely atmosphere and an entertainment for the night, free of charge. The multitasking bearded barman. Ross, If you take a second to realise how many drinks he makes at once is mind boggling. True credit. Not to mention the upstairs waitress. Great character... More

Not my first visit and review of this restaurant but their performance has been consistent over the years. Another in a recent. series of family meals which invariably results in me eating food which is not my favourite -pub grub is not my choice. The thing I do admire about the Springs is how busy they are - no matter... More

My other halfs food was good... More
