We booked for a family meet pre the Blenheim Christmas light show. It was good to have parking, friendly staff and great food

Having stayed in Broadway, we stumbled across the Black Prince on the way to the hotel we were staying st, and decided to stop on the way home. On arrival, we were greeted by such a warm Welcome, and a very cosy pub. The staff...More

Although the Black Prince is a short walk from Woodstock centre, I can imagine in the summer it would be nice outside by the river. The door opens into one single long room which would benefit from a porch as a draft swept into the...More

Met with family for a lunch pre-Christmas - pub was very welcoming, and although we had to wait for our table, it was ready on time, and you could see it as a testament to the popularity of the pub that it was so busy....More

Had travelled for a full hour (good journey today) to get to see Alice at the palace (Blenheim). We had already given the folks there quite a bit of business (coffees and cake and nice stuff from the shop for Christmas). We had booked the...More

We stopped off at this pub as it was the oldest one in Woodstock. My husband loves history. It’s quite small but retains it original features. It was warm and welcoming. We both enjoyed a glass of mulled wine and then decided to have a...More

Good, homemade food. Pies were particularly tasty and the puddings looked great. Homely pub with two log fires and relaxing, busy atmosphere. Helpful and welcoming to children and dogs.

After such a disappointment at another pub in the area we were hoping for something better and were not disappointed. We had booked a table, which was just as well as this small pub was full when we arrived, and found ourselves seated right opposite...More

I booked a table for six on a Wednesday lunchtime, thinking at the time, is it worth booking a table? How busy are they going to be? The answer was very busy indeed. Within a few minutes of our arrival, the pub was packed. And...More

They serve food until 9.pm, but I would say it would be advisable to order food a while before then. The food, I must say, was delicious when we ate there. Enjoy.

Yes there’s a car park but it is fairly small, probably room for about 20 cars. I am not sure about the access question so if I was you I would call the pub direct.
