This cafe is opposite a popular cinema and can be very full. While OK for tea and coffee the food is highly unpredictable and can be frankly horrible on a bad day!

Excellent place for tea and cake. Fantastic range of really inventive cakes which taste fabulous. Not cheap, but a nice ambience and on-street parking usually easy to come by. Quite a small place with not many seats at ground level but further seating usually available downstairs.

Great variety of food with plenty of options for all dietary requirements. The main floor can get a bit squished, especially if buggies are involved but there are plenty more seats downstairs. There's free WiFi and a very chilled atmosphere. Great place to meet up with friends or while away a rainy Sunday.

This is a great little unfussy cafe, recently renovated, with a cosy feel. It's one of our favourite places for a tea-and-cake stop, and after discovering that they offer a range of vegetarian breakfast options (vegan if you ask them to hold certain items) it's a cheeky weekend treat too. The ground floor fills up fast, but often overlooked is... More

Nice but small place on the Walton street, friendly staff, a bit arrogant mid-aged locals, but over all fantastic to stop by for a coffee during a busy day walking the city.

We had just arrived in Oxford on a hot day. Another café nearby was offering macaroni for £14 and no seat. Then we found Jericho! Lots of choice, quick service, good food at good prices. Go there! Meet folk it's busy!

I like the Jericho Cafe, it is easy to reach and a good place to meet. Comfortable, no hassle sort of venue where I have lingered long over a discussion with friends. My family enjoy it too, and I like going there if I am waiting between appointments in Oxford.

Had a friend of my daughter staying and wanted somewhere for brunch after an hour punting on the Cherwell. Found the Jericho Cafe online and it fitted the bill perfectly. Kids had waffles and I had the full English. All very tasty. Staff very friendly and remarkably good value.

Very busy and popular cafe. Had my breakfast on the street. The portions were large and the breakfast tasty. Be prepared to fend for your self if you need refills.

Had some coffees and an apple juice. All of which were fine but nothing special. Service was reasonable.
